    Are they sexist or something? What's up with that? They don't want women playing the game or something?

    Most all modern games have the availability for all players to comfortably get behind the controls. This is the first game in a while, that I know of, that hasn't given the choice.

    Alright; refined question then. Will there soon be a way to add a female character into the game as an addon - and if there already is, maybe someone can help me find it?

    Honey...there's more games that don't let you. Only crappy MMO's let you choose.

    Okay guys. I NEED HELP!!!

    I have an AMD X2 6400+ 3.2GHz~

    I also own an 8800GT. I know that ArmA2 is more GPu intensive than CPU.

    So if I upgrade from my 8800GT to a GTX260 core 213 896MB...Will I see an FPS increase. I significant increase?

    Because other people are telling me that my system would be unbalanced. I don't see how, since the CPU isn't that bad at all.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    how do my specs stack up

    amd phenom II x4 810 (not oced)

    radeon hd 4870 1gig

    4 gb Ram

    vista 64 bit

    You'll be fine on High Settings, with Shadows on med, and AF on Low. ;)

    Hey everyone, do you think I'll have any problems? My specs are over the minimum but I heard I will need to play it at lower settings, so I'm concerned.

    My specs:

    Intel E8200 Dual Core 2.66GHz

    4GB RAM + Windows XP 32bit = 3.5GB RAM

    Nvidia XFX Geforce 275 896MB

    Now, is that a GTX275 that you're talking about?

    And your CPU is fine. So...I don't know who told you that you need to play at lower settings. I'm playing Medium-High right now and I'm getting awesome graphics with great FPS. You'll do just fine.

    I just need to upgrade to a GTX260 for better FPS on higher settings ;)

    well never built a comp before but there's a first for everything.

    Anyways thanks for the info guys.

    lol my friend made a bet with me if I lose 60 pounds(I'm a bit overweight =/) he will give me 500$ but if I don't than I'll have to give him 500$ which I can use for my save up money. =(

    Better go to the gym soon lol.

    If you're overweight. I wouldn't be looking into ArmA2 my friend. But to the track in the neighbourhood ;)

    So at the end of the day. Don't worry about your PC, and get outside ;)

    Hey guys,

    I own a eVGA 8800GT 512MB, and I'm planning to get the GTX260 896MB DDR3.

    I saw videos of a guy on YouTube, who owns an HD4870 and he has an AMD X2 6000+!!! and he's playing on high and very high with 30FPS.

    I have the X2 6400+ and the GTX260 core 216 is faster than the HD4870.

    Right now with the 8800GT I am getting like 18-20Fps on low-medium settings.

    Think the GTX260 will make big difference?
