Im an old drummer. Havent been able to play them for years though, been working on boats, travelling, living in apartments. They are my favourite sport, yes i call them a sport because i put in so much intensity and energy.
I gave up on bands long time ago, guitarists egos gave me the shits. So i just loved playing 1 hour a day. Ill be buying a house next year so ill set them back up!
EDIT- I just reread the topic, it says "MUSICIANS". Drummers aren't musicians, we're the guy who hangs around a group of musicians! lol

Is anyone here satisfied with there multi gpu setup for arma 2 and other games? Seems like so many struggle with them.Ive got a gtx295, Im happy with the cards performance. Someone else could probably see my system if it has the micro stuttering, but i dont notice it. If its there im used to it.
I dont think Ill get another sli setup again tho. Its to hot all year where i live and this card gets way to hot sometimes.

I cant stand the voices in Arma2 the way theyve been strung together but at least they have the correct tone in relation to the situation.
In DR he speaks with that relaxed voice in all situations, it was annoying me more than Arma2 voices.

True or False the enemy AI cheats? It knew which side of that wall he was going to be at. It was tracking him.

I see that the AI cheats in DR, knows where you are.
AI in Arma2 only knows where you were.

I bought A2 the day it came out and loved it but several issues with bugs and such made me decide to put in on the shelf for a bit. Im ready to re-install and try again but I have not played since 1.02 patch. I am just looking for some feedback on the latest 1.05 patch to see if things are running smooth or if I should just wait for a few more patches. TIA!The game is running really good but the campaign is still the same. Skip that and download user made campaigns and missions or play online.

Yeh i forgot to add, 3 weeks after announcing the dolls clothes they still arnt available. Nothing works out for CM, 1 thing after another is a stuff up involving DR.

So from the original BIS buildings2_Ind_CementWorks.pbo I copied over the folder called Ind_silovelke into buildings2_Ind_CementWorks_Low_Visuals_R_PROPER.pbo
From original buildings2.pbo i copied over 2 folders, shed_small and Farm_Cowshed into buildings2_Low_Visuals_R_PROPER.pbo.

What i meant was i copied over the BIS original files into Kju's .pbos. So now they have the full LODs.

kju, any news on some of the buildings being blurry with PROPER low buildings mod?Did you fix this? I just copied over the original files into kju's .pbos.
I fixed the long cattle shed, the small backyard shed and the Cement silos.
Was there anymore?

Yeh you couldve built it for a couple hundred cheaper but if finance was a problem then its ok.
The pc will run Arma2 pretty good tho.

i am very much looking forward to playing this someday.I downloaded the 2 required zip files for it, not the sound mod or ace2x yet. I put them in the arm2 folder but did not extract them. Then i ran that updater program and it was downloading and updating for a few hours.
When i run arma and try and join a ace2 server i still get booted and it says i still dont have the content.
help help
Did you enable the mods after you downloaded them? Use an addon launcher or edit your shortcut to include the mods.

If you've got 6gigs of ram, make a 3gig ramdrive. Arma2 only uses sub 2gigs of ram. I noticed definately less HD thrashing. It wont really improve fps but will increase texture loading.
