Launched grenades and smoke grenades will not break or go through a glass window, they just bounce off even if glass is broken. Shooting one window in a building will break ALL the glass in that building. Mountain heights are displayed over the top of the mountain name, very hard to read without scrolling all the way in. -

I thought of last night while running and running and running that a G key for 'always run' would be nice. How would one go about this?

I've got a G15 too and have been trying to get some ideas for the G keys. I'm not going to use them for AI commands, I play mainly online coops/pvp. Anymore ideas?

Thanks for this, I had become proficient at guessing ranges and firing accurately without any understanding of the scopes. This explains it nicely. -
Fits can also be caused by low frequency noises, noises you cant even hear but they vibrate the body as to cause fits. Fluorescent lights can emit this noise, CRT,tv's can do it. Check other things in your room.

Hi, Stiff. Thanks for the update. I played for a bit and found that reinforcements didnt work still. I had one soldier dead and tried to reinforce, it was approved on screen but never came. After the fortress was built i found about 10 AI lying on the ground on top of each other like some gey orgy behind it, some new bug?? Rearm at flagpole didnt work either. My guys still didnt have ammo after using it 2-3 times. thanks

I've had this bug quite a few times, it looks like a massive bushfire that is unjoined at the ground. I once had 2 of these fires going at the same time. It was so bright i didnt have to wear NV goggles for a night mission. -
Thanks for new version. The distance is good now, smaller fire fights instead of the massive war that was going on. Tried to use 'emergency medicine' at flag and got a missing sciprt error "medic.sqs" i think it was. So that didnt work. Force reinforcements didnt work for me again.

Thanks for your effort, just tested, I'm liking alot of the new sounds but not so much the rifle sounds. When AI are firing it sounds like it is looping, a precise to the millisecond sound repeating, which was actually abit annoying. It stopped sounding like a rifle and more like a repeating sound. The footsteps are alot better and new explosions. Thanks

Arghh too many sound packs now, there's yours, RH heli, tracked vehicles and VOP. I want a combination of the 4. Might have to dust off the sound pack skills from OFP. Love the GAU sound, sounds like god undoing his zipper (trademark someone else) -

There was a mission for OpFlash using the SEBNAM Vietnam mod that was exactly what you're looking for and called We Were Soldiers. Was great fun. Hopefully EBUD and my memory fails me now, begins with S, will do their magic with Arma2!!

So your head is stuck looking right? Have you tried pressing LEFT-ALT 2x? L-ALT is free look, pressing it twice locks it on. And the units disappearing is maybe from the ambient combat module resetting the units, I've had a t-90 group disappear while it was on its way to attack me. I put it down to ACM deleting units that had been on map for a while.

Just tested this for about 40mins. -My reinforcements never came from menu "Force Reinforcements" -Enemy building mortar bunkers next to my base, do they use the mortars? -Did you think about moving the enemy base to south of Strelka so there is more distance between bases and then all of the island can be used.??

I was playing last night , as gunner in a LAV. i killed 3 guys who thought they were hiding in grass, but it wasn't being rendered as they were too far away from me. They can't see anything but grass, because they go prone to hide but they stick out like dogs balls from a distance. I actually felt a bit guilty, they're new players and probably think i was cheating. The grass should be OFF until a better system is introduced. -

I found the ammo boxes very laggy, unable to easily change/add items. Sometimes completely unable to add/change something. -
My 505 download version from nexway looks like - ArmedAssault2_edsr_efis.exe ArmedAssault2_edsr_efis-1.bin through to ArmedAssault2_edsr_efis-11.bin So theres 12 files at roughly 7.5gigs. just split over 2 dvds. no problemo at all.

There's a guy in the centre of bunker on the mortar, the mortar is really quite short, half a metre high. After you kill him the mortar will disappear within about 30secs. I've tried to use it and seems unusable, no way to aim properly, I haven't tried mortars in the game any other time so i don't know.
