I've been using this mod since it came out and like it a lot, but something i thought of the other day that I would like is a small compass , one that can be on screen all the time and not be intrusive. The vanilla compass is too big for on screen all the time. Its not unrealistic to be able to see it all the time. Possible?

I'm using one of those addons to cut down on AI speech. So sometimes all i hear is the 1st word. "FUCK..2 is down" "SHIT..2 is down" "MAN.. far, left" so all i hear is FUCK SHIT MAN

I've just been playing for about 30mins. I didn't have any mouse lag problems, the new mouse movement is noticeable at first, but then i forgot about it within minutes, so it really doesn't bother me. The game is running so good too, I just installed Win7 few days ago, which was a massive fps increase over Vista, but now I think performance is even higher? New sound effects are great, seeing the flash then hearing the shot! Keep it up BIS

It dosnt matter where you install it to, Ive installed it too D:\games\Arma2 on Win7, and it runs excellent, after I disabled HT in BIOS because i have an I7. Ive got download version from nexway, which i backed up to dvd, and it installed and runs. So something is wrong with your install, try again?

I randomly get this error since 1.03- "cannot load mipmap ca\structures\data\asphalt\asphalt_rough_nohq.paa"

I seem to have fixed my game now on Win7, it was running the best i've seen it by disabling HT and some other tweaks in this thread. Thanks to all. But really, disabling HT? Didnt anyone at BIS have an I7 or cpu with HT while developing? Thats a big thing to 'slip' by This game is so frustrating, if it was anything else it would've been binned on day one!

Nice work. The AI rearming themselves should be in the game as standard, nothing annoys me more than micromanaging AI team mates to get more ammo. Does this addon affect teammates?

I set up auto run, comes in handy quite a lot actually. In the macro creator just hold down your Forward key record it and stop without lifting up from forward key. Other buttons i used for ALL hold fire, All Fire. All get down, All get up.

Since 1.03 ive got "cannot commit" crashes, in towns the massive white and black triangle texture crashes, and just random crashes. I'm a WINNER. 3 types of crashes!!

MAKE THE CRASHES GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!! making me crazy! All i want to do is play the fkin game! Unplayable now after patch, 5mins and its crashing.

Loading, waiting, playing , crashing, loading ,waiting, playing , crashing, loading ,waiting, playing , crashing repeat ad nauseum. Gunna give it a miss for a while, not worth the frustration.

That would be a waste of money, theres no game out that needs quad sli. Arma2 needs CPU power not gpu. I've got a 295 and maybe 2years on I might think about another.

I'm getting very annoyed with this game too, a gaming session involves not much gaming, a lot of loading, waiting, crashing, loading , more waiting, another crash....

I've got auto walk working on my G15, just record the forward key then stop recording it with out lifting off from the forward key. So in the keys window mine jsut has 'W' listed. To stop from autowalk i press W twice.

I also would like to know how to make AI take off in planes too, I had my AI steal one the other day and i wanted him to start blasting tanks that were incoming, but just couldnt get him to take off, all he did was to nudge forward very slowly. BIS gods share some knowledge on this?

You should restart the mission you are playing, NOT the whole campaign just that mission. I believe it even says so in the change log!

@potatomassher It won't conflict anymore than it will already with this loading - -mod=x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core I fail to see the difference, I've got it all in 1 folder, you've got it in 2 and load all anyway. As i said it works for me and getting no errors.

I've put all the associated addons plus the OAC all into here and it works- C:\GAMES\ArmA 2\@CAA1\Addons\

You should be happy with 33fps , this isn't a twitch shooter.
