  1. Still want joystick support.
  2. Only played a few minutes. Is there a way to use a joystick for flying? Doesn't seem to recognize my MSFF2.
  3. Tried 5 times and finally completed payment. Now just need to get rid of those other 4 pending orders, LOL.
  4. Well, I stuck at the Confirm Order page (tried both Paypal and Credit Card payment options); website is not responding. :(
  5. A Steam only deal would be nice. I want to keep all my digital purchase in one place (currently have 230+ games on Steam).

    Aimimg deadzone (in options)

It's not there. There's only mouse smoothing.

    Aimimg deadzone (in options)

Like I said, it's already off in control panel. The game has built-in mouse acceleration that can't be turned off.

    Aimimg deadzone (in options)

Please tell me how to turn off mouse acceleration in this game. My mouse feels perfect 1:1 in every other FPS I play except ArmA2. Don't tell me to turn it off in Windows and mouse driver software, cause it's already off.
  9. So you guys in Europe just got the map? I guess I'll be getting mine next week, as I'm in Asia.
  10. Is the Steam version of BAF going to be compatible with the sprocket/retail version of OA?
  11. I gotta give that beta driver a try when I got home. With the 257.21 profile, the original game runs fine, but OA stutters.
  12. The load balancing a lot better now, using adding the .exe approach, but there's still a lot of stuttering especially when my charcter is running.
  13. Yeah stutters like hell with two cards; I'm gonna try single GPU mode.

Should I buy from STEAM or Sprocket??

It's almost 10 USD cheaper for me to buy from Sprocket (Steam $39.99, Sprocket €24.92= $30.4257). Just remember to pay in Euros and let your credit card company do the conversion. Only downside is that the download speed is very slower (I'm in Asia), so better burn the files to a DVD or blu-ray afterwards so don't have to worry about having to redownload it again.
  15. Thanks! That is just what I'm looking for.
  16. Does anyone running SLI know a way to add the OA .exe file to the existing ARMA2 SLI profile without using nhancer, since nhancer does not work with the lastest 257.21 driver set?

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

Exchange rates depend on the credit card you use. You can download it and burn it to DVD or blu-ray, and never worry about having to re-download.

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

Yeah, and it's cheaper on Sprocket as well without VAT; steam probably will charge $39.99.

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

There's no activation limit for the Sprocket DL version right? Anyway, just pre-ordered yesterday.

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

Wow, that's great! Will be pre-ordering from them then.

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

Does Sprocket accept orders outside Europe? I'm interested in the map, so considering D/L.

    Recommend a flight stick

As far as prop sims are concerned, it's just a matter of getting used to the way the stick feels. BTW, how do you like the throttle? Do you find it too stiff?

    Recommend a flight stick

Prop sims are not an issue. The biggest issue, according to their review, is the inability to detect where the stick is relative to center because the stick does not move, resulting in X motion bleeding into the Y axis and vice versa. On the real F-16, this problem has been solved by redesigning the stick to allow it to move an eighth-of-an-inch from center. They even made this video to demo the problem: b-8aBMsxmU8

Really? I almost bought it until I saw the SimHQ review.
  25. Been running SLI setups since 2005, but I'm not a fan of Quad SLI. Had 9800GX2 QSLI for 3 months, and the scaling was just terrible for lot of games. Not to mention the 295 has less than 900MB of effective VRAM... anyways, might as well sell your 295 and grab a single GTX480. Microstutter happens to single cards as well. http://futuremark.yougamers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127164 ArmA2 scales very well with SLI. The load balancing graph is almost completely filled.
