A fictional war. A modern Korean War, along the DMZ, would be simply amazing if it were done by BIS, with this engine. Now, we just need a gigantic bloody space sat, that redirects the energy of the sun, so that the North Korean's can blast a highway through the minefields for their troops to use.

Yes. It may have been a poor choice of words on my end, but from what I heard, he apparently sent very bad, flame PMs to people.

No, what I'm saying is you can't sink a modern carrier with... or a molotov cocktail. By saying that you can SINK a carrier with a bottle of freakin vodka or cheap booze, he's revealing that he's just an idiot.Yes, I know that if a torpedo or a silkworm get in past the excorts and CIWS/Sea Sparrows, that the carrier will be in deep shit, but it most likely won't sink from a single one. The downside is, those weapons are normally fired in volleys, so normally if 1 gets in, 3 get in.

Hey! You, over there! Yes You, Dolt!. :232: THEY HAVE A TON OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, AND THEY CAN PUMP WATER FROM THE FREAKING OCEAN. THE CARRIERS YOUR TALKING ABOUT ARE 70+ YEARS OLD. NO MODERN CARRIER CAN BE SUNK WITH 1 BOMB, UNLESS ITS A NUKE. In case you still don't get it, let me speak in easily understandable terms. those - carriers - were - made - over - SEVENTY (70) - years - ago. They - do - NOT - use - wooden - decks - anymore, - you - twit.

One of the final posts by an apparently stupid user. Let it die...

Those were WW2 carriers you dolt! They had WOODEN DECKS! How the hell could a molotov take down a modern, all fuckin metal aircraft carrier? Hell, they aren't even using flammable paint anymore! A U.S. Aircraft carrier can survive a silkworm hit, possibly 2, but it can survive 1 atleast. It may not be able to move if the screws get hit, but they make modern ships to fuckin last man. Where the hell have you been the past 70 years Baff?

WTF you talkin about! I get 10 fps normal, and 2 in towns. I would kill you, rip your liver out, and sacrifice it to the Lords of Kobol to get 30 in town. You lucky bastard! *So Say We All

I suggest Robertson City. Felix Huston Robertson (1839–1928), only Confederate general who was a native-born Texan. Or something related to John Ford, famous for his Texas Rangers legacy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Salmon_Ford -

While many people might agree, I doubt anybody is going to make them for a while. Look for an RKSL thingy, but that may be 6 months or longer. Oh, one more thing. STOP SPAMMING -

Well, are you asking for something that requires OA, or are you asking for somebody to port the T-55 and BTR-60 to ArmA II, standalone? -

Wow... that sure as hell is the CoD vest. He kinda distorted it a tad but it's the same. *Looks at Enad and Banderas with a withering glare* -
While i do agree there are other things that need to be done first, the ability to have melee weapons, like bayonets, would be something I would almost pay for. Also, don't say that they are not used in modern combat. Have you heard about the British guys (Company sized i think) who got caught in an ambush in Iraq, engaged the insurgents (i believe over a hundred, but i can't confirm) and then started running low on ammo? They all fixed their bayonets, and charged right at the bastards. Although they either killed or wounded a couple insurgents (again, not sure which) the bayonet charge scared the living shit out of the rest of them and caused them to run like hell.

Personally, I like the grey one the way it is. Also, the USMC has not, and will not, use the Chinook. -
I want to pay to send the AI to Drivers Ed.

Not to mention he wants to be able to snap peoples necks!
-
Oh dear... You sir, should not be playing ArmA then.

Score System for Transport Pilots
Darkhorse 1-6 replied to SuperStarwolf's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
What everybody here is missing, is that this is not a problem or an issue with a BIS product. This is a Mission specific problem. I never saw a score system on any of the BIS missions. Or the Editor, or the campaign. The score system is in domination, evolution, warfare, and the rest. -
[For free] Proof of concept: weapon attachements
Darkhorse 1-6 replied to [frl]myke's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
No, it's weapons being switched. As I keep saying, currently you can't (atleast nobody has found a away/done it yet) create SOCOM-ish "attachments" that you can put on a rifle. The only way *again, following the above statement in ()* is to create one rifle model, and then several copies of the model using different configurations of the "attachments". Then you use a script, or Myke's method (More advanced I think.) to switch to a model that has the attachments you want/select. -
Wrong section... http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56 ^^ Right section *Never* ^ The date that BI will implement knife combat. :) It would be cool though...

Simple. Have them hold fire, then fire at will.
