These are just the models... You have to use it with Mando Missile and put the proper scripts in for it to work correctly. -

Well, you need to have been a member of these forums for longer than a couple days. Just about everybody who currently has access is either an addonmaker, or is a member of this community who has been around for a while-long enough to ensure they are not going to steal the addons, or friends of somebody who is already a part of the group. We expect a release fairly soon, so while you can't get in on beta testing, you will get some of them soon enough.

Nah, he is going to read a certain post (regarding Eble IIRC) and then come up with a master plan. To tell everybody his hard drive crashed and keep Lingor to himself. :D -
Like Eddie said, your welcome to sign up on the Task Force Lion forums. It may be a day or two before I can get you the proper permissions to get the addons, because I'm stuck using my phone, and the administration control panel doesn't like that. It logs me out every 10 secods or so, so the process gets irritating.

It hasn't been locked down yet as far as I know. Options being considered are - AH-64, AH-1(possibly an older version), Tiger, and.the Mangusta.

@Defunkt - My comment regarding ACE wasn't meant as rudeness towards ACE, I simply thought that they wanted it to be ACE only. I am in cramped quarters, very stressed, and having to use my phone only right now. It was a simple misunderstanding. As for my comment regarding Takko, I don't regret it and I won't edit it. His addons were crap. Admittedly there is a slim chance he got better, but what I have seen of his work (I can't get VTE for another month) it's just not worth the hard drive space. -

Yep, impossible to make it act like WiC. The best you can hope for is a camera version of high command, which that particular mod will be eventually. -

I would love to see an rts style mod. But it would have to downgrade the level of detail in the game, or else it would crash. -

@Topas - The transport system can easily be done. Norrin wrote a cargo script for NZDFCrash's C-130 that works like a charm. You simply drive a vehicle up the back ramp, it locks the vehicle(s) in place, kicks the driver and all passengers out, and that's that. When your where you want to be you drop the ramp, hit unload vehicle, and when it slides out and down the ramp (another part of the script) it becomes enterable again. -

You know the poly limit for arma 2 is 20k right? I think people have gotten up to 25k, not sure, but I know that nothing higher than that will work. The engine just won't allow it. -

You can bring 80k polys down to 20k? Damn, your pretty good. Atleast if you manage to meet the limit and keep the detail. ;) -

The winch CAN'T work. I agree about getting them updated to OA, but don't expect a working winch, the best it could be would be a copy of his fastrope. -

It might be possible. It is for planes, or it was in ArmA 1. As for a helicopter firing torpedos it is possible, Gnat or Mando did it, i can't remember. Actually many teams are shedding ACE and going to stock OA. OT: Will be downloading this on my next trip to the library. -
Well Mac, the mod is a standalone, no replacement packs. We use the Mirage III not the Mirage 2000, and I doubt we will use the Marder or the Ozelot. I may edit this post with a screenshot of our new aircraft shortly.
