Well, the PRACS F/A-18 basically doesn't exist anymore, it's not a part of the mod. The ANZAC mod is still alive, although I'm not sure why the thread is closed, and like i said, FDF has an amazingly beautiful one. Just be patient. Is it that freakin hard?

Will you do something like how the MHQ is done in warfare? A drivable truck, and then a script which swaps out the truck for the static, deployed, radar model when you deploy it?

I do the same thing. I do wish there was an option on the poll regarding using the editor and addons, minus the "end enjoy sharing it" bit. Not a single thing I make in the editor ever sees the light of day, and most likely never will (Well, There may be a few, but I'm no real missionmaker), as I either make it using a crapload of addons, things that are private beta's, or it's something that distracts me but if it was on an MP server it would be a load of crap.

Yes, but as the F/A-18 is no longer a WIP/a part of the mod, posts begging for it to be included are offtopic, and very annoying. So, one last time, do not bring it up again please. There's been enough crap about the F/A-18, it needs to end now. It's eddies decision, there is nothing you can do to change his mind. To clarify: ONLY the F/A-18 is cancelled, Project RACS is still going to be released, and with a long long long list of content.

Well, It's not like we decided not to release it, and then showed pictures of it. We showed pictures of it, along with all the other content that's coming, with every intention of releasing it. But after close to a year of nothing but abusive posts, emails, and PMs, Eddie just got sick and tired of all the shit, so he decided not to release. Now please, can we get back on topic? We don't need another debate about this type of issue, especially not here. I'll post some screenshots in the next half hour to get it back on track, if the discussion about the F/A-18 and people asking for Eddie to change his mind about the release continues, we'll have to call a moderator in.

Ah ok. Well, I didn't say there was no need, I just replied with the 3 mods that were currently working on an F-18 when somebody requested them in the Addon Request Thread, and i've done that a few more times because people cant seem to use the search function anymore :p @SGT M - The sad sad fact is that alot of players these days don't care about the origin of the addon, they just want the addon, they want it now, and they want it with 0 bugs. The others that aren't like the ones I just described generally don't care, they don't pester/threaten/etc. the addonmaker to release or anything, but they don't care about IP/who the author is/if it's ripped or not. It's just another addon to them. If the addon gets pulled by the hosting sites after it's been released however, then these people get pissed, and accuse the original addon maker, who reported his stolen work to these sites, of ruining the community. The PRACS F/A-18 is not going to see a public release, and that's that. ANZAC or FDF are the people to ask now. Just send NZDFCrash a PM.

If your asking if wld would give his version of the F/A-18 to somebody else to work on, i don't think so.

We wouldn't interfere if somebody else got permission from Franze and converted it themselves. Why would we?

:D That's the whole idea, the user can create an army to fit his own idea of how the RACS should be armed. @SGT M - Crash's F/A-18 along with ours is Franze's model converted to A2 and tailored to fit the mods, the difference is the one you asked about is the ANZAC mod version, not ours, so please ask in the ANZAC thread. I can however tell you right now you wont get a release date from PRACS, ANZAC, or FDF. (FDF has their own custom built model) Well, I can also tell you there will not be a USMC or USN hornet from PRACS, and probably not from ANZAC. @All - We've been bug testing the weapons in MP the last few days. So far a few bugs have been found and eradicated, but very few. :) *Edit* *Eddie ninja'd me again. Damnit. :D*

Nah, he meant the U.S. Army version. The only people allowed to download that are Active Duty/Reserve military, DoD personnel, and possibly Retired Military, although I cannot confirm the last.
