I'm gonna see how far the A2/OA pbos take me, then I had planned on using CAA1 buildings (making my own mini pack) or talking to Ice. Its not gonna be an exact copy of the BIS version to save my sanity, I may improve areas or create a cmouple from scratch. -

I don't intend to infringe on Massacra. ;) Been slow going, with having to manually add all the A2 objects (I have a new respect for island makers now, I think my left index finger will be a bloody nub by the time this is over. *click, drag, oops 11 objects, click, drag, 10 imported, repeat 500 times*) To try and lighten the addon load, I created a "junkyard" of objects from sahrani/that fit sahrani, in visitor. When i reach the next phase, tomorrow hopefully (looking at screenshots from Sahrani, replicating and/or improving it.) i'll post some screenshots. -
I would like to see the ArmA 1 buildings that were dropped in A2 included again. The wouldn't have to be on an island/map, but having them included in a BIS ArmAII pbo would open up more possibilities for island makers, would eliminate the need for extra files (to get A1 buildings) and would make things easier for both the community (players) and island makers.

Is the addons folder inside your @F16 (etc.) Folder(s) spelled "Addons"? If the A isn't capitalized arma doesn't seem to accept it. -

I think I once met a man who "visited" that sandy, quite dry, tropical island... OT - I'm working on South Sahrani right now (I could kiss hund. Well, almost anyways. :D) I'm about to start on the roads etc. Hopefully ill have done enough to show something in the next day or so. -

... You've been told this by other people. The BIS ArmA 2/OA models cannot be edited, it is illegal, and yet you keep spamming every helicopter type thread with this request BS. OT: This looks like an interesting addon, maybe we will eventually see the sort of stuff OFP had. Do you have any plans to redo the USCG paint scheme? -
You spent $150 on ArmA 2? My god BIS should give you the DLCs for free or something. lol.

What most servers seem to be using for arty these days is the standard BIS Artillery Computer. I'm not sure if anything separate has to be done, but I don't think so. If you want more ammo types than HE some init-line code on whatever part of the script spawns the artillery should work. (I'm actually about to do some digging into that subject in the next few hours, to see if I can locate that bit of code and give the arty ammo types like WP/SADARM/Smoke etc.) -

A respectable career path, as some particular politicians/government workers have recently showed people, is drug prevention, as long as once you are famous for your anti-drug efforts you actually get caught buying drugs yourself. (The prosecutor for... i think Paris Hilton's and Lindsay Lohan's cases is who inspired this post.) :D -

Same for me. I had spine surgery a year and a half ago, and while the chances of getting me a med waiver are slim, the chance does exist. I've known too many people who've enlisted & deployed, (Some of them not coming back, many of them coming back a different person) to be able to live with myself if I don't atleast try to enlist. I play ArmA because of how realistic it is, and because it's not full of the little kids & nutjobs that seem so frequent in other games. -

Actually, there was/are no issues regarding ownership of the model. Everybody knows it's Franze's model, as are Crash's and Meatball's. The issue was more along the lines of people pestering him to release it/delete the racs version/only make a usmc version, etc. -

Great to hear. Are you a current/former member of the 3rd AABn? I ask because I was on pendleton for a couple months, probably about half a mile from their HQ/motor pool if I remember the signs right. They were doing a lot of training along the beach there, and I've got a few pictures of an LCAC heading toward them & what I believe is the USS Green Bay sitting right off the coast. -
