Can you tell us about your FPS ingame,please? BTW the game looks much better with good weather and looks bad while playing in rainy conditions. -

I wonder if it's worth it to upgrade some of my components. I have an i5-2500k(4,2Ghz), GTX 570 and 8 gb ram. At the same time I read about other people with better systems that have same kind of issues with lag and low FPS. So should I upgrade or maybe keep the same system and hope that it will run better in the future?

Not all can accept bad FPS and lagg. I have been a hardcore player since Operation Flashpoint so no problem here. But when I try to play with mates it's quite hard to convince them to stay and to play Arma 2, Arma 3 with all lagg tha occurs during multiplayer games. It's not a question of keeping "old" players but a question to win new players and to expand the multiplayer experience.

Good job BIS with the update!!! I gain 4-5 FPS in daylight and I also noticed better performance at night. I like the tweaking with the NVG and the thing that they aren't too bright as before. First impressions are positive and I wanted to share my experience so far ;)

Set view distance to max 2000 Set object details to standard Disable AA and put FXAA to Very high or ultra Close other programs and browsers during gameplay ( will not result in higher FPS but will give a smoother game) Also lower PIP to low or disable Ofcourse we all like to believe that BIS will optimize the game for better gaming experience but until then try the above suggestions :)

This is quite a big problem and I already noticed that from the start. Arma2 runs much better at night compared to Arma3. I hope this can be somehow solved :(

It looks amazing but unfortunately the FPS impact is, Im afraid, not worth it:confused:. I get 70-73 FPS in Agia Marina with an empty map and with SweetFX I get 60 FPS. I might use it in the future if the game gets optimized by BIS.

I have to agree here with DaRkL3AD3R. I hope BIS is aware of the FPS hit while playing at night time.

Why is night game and mostly while using NVG so FPS demanding? It cuts my FPS by 40-50%!! I even loaded ARMA II OA and played at night but I didn't notice any FPS hit there. Is this issue known ? Am I the only one experiencing this?

I'm getting random crashes, especially when using the editor. Any ideas? More intensive lights are more demanding performance wise!! I hope they can find a solution because FPS at night are too low compared to daylight.

Great news and thank you for the release :) I have a problem though while downloading the mod. The downloading stuck at 27% and nothing happens right now. It's the first time I download from this specific website(MEGA) and I have no clue why it stopped:(
