Had a crazy day on the 15th, had to go to the hospital.

9am Monday i was finishing up posting my update for my RDR2 mod on the Nexus (Bandit Hideouts btw), and i noticed this slight cramping

on my right side it felt like when you hold a shit in to long and you cramp, lol.

     So i shut down my computer, and this somewhat pain started increasing over a period of 2hrs, was talking with my mom,

twice on the phone.   The 2nd time i called her the cramping turned into pain, i threw up (puked) twice, almost fainted and

was almost rolling on the floor in agony, wtf is going on!?

 

     So my mom said you better get yourself to the hospital and get whatever it is checked out, well since i had no ride,

though i could drive myself i dared not to considering i couldn't sit still, i was pacing around my apartment to take my mind of the pain.

   So i called 911 that connected me to the local ambulance in my town and off i went.   I get to the hospital get my blood taken, triage ect,.

they tell me to sit in the waiting room, this was at about 1pm so here i sat from 1pm til almost 4pm in pain and severe discomfort,

seriously WTF!

   

They finally call me, i get to a room they told me to wait in, it had a bed, so i sit down at the edge of the bed still hurting,

in about 10minutes the pain subsided, like it just vanished. What happened? Was it the change in seating? Hardly.

    Well i sat in that room for 2hrs, so here 6pm rolls around, doctor comes in, says i need a CT Scan, so an hour after that i get one,

i ask the nurse if i can use the bathroom, so i do, i must have pissed my brains out for 5min i had to go so bad, lol

 

Well 7pm roles around another nurse comes in which was like 20min after i peed and says they need a urine sample, omg i just let everything out!

So she hooked up an iv with water, and basically i laid there for an hour and a half having this water feeding me so i can pee in a container in the room.

    Well 8:30pm comes around i've peed in the container, and there i sit til 8:45 waiting, finally nurse comes back, grabs a sample, then i sit again.

    9pm rolls around doctor comes in, new doctor not the one i seen the first time, says i had passed a few tiny kidney stones,

well the 1st doc already told me this as they seen it in the CT scan, but the urine sample was to check for any infections and there was none.

 

     Half hour later they said i can go, nurse takes iv jack out and now i waited til 10pm for my ride.

Not one time did i get any pain medication or had it offered, i spent that entire time waiting in pain and discomfort, i could have saved the

headache if you will and stayed at home and save myself a ton of money, now i await the bill ... what will it be. Ya that was my Monday

over 12hrs of waiting in pain and then waiting, WTF!

For those terrain lovers, if your currently looking for terrains on my

All Arma 3 Terrains Compilation List

it will be hidden as i had just updated it with over 50+ new terrains, thing is

anytime i update the list the forum hides it for security and needs approval, so if you dont see it this is why.

Steam Workshop Type:  Scenario

I had a thought cross my mind today and i had no idea that it works like this.

     After responding to a couple of comments on my Steam workshop page for my scenario Drug Traffickers

i found out some players were playing the mission through Singleplayer ---> Scenarios tab through the main

menu and not through MP lan which i designed it for, because

it has respawn and parameters you can change.

 

   The comments actually had me confused asking about the other units at the starting position, i then realized

they were playing the mission in SP, so the question crossed my mind on how does a mission you post to steam workshop

show listed in Singleplayer on the main menu under scenarios and Multiplayer anyways?

  

I had a hunch and discovered it, basically when you add the tags singleplayer and multiplayer steam actually puts

the scenario in those sections of the game, i feel so dumb but i had no idea that it would do that

i thought the tags were just that, tags, basically enabling search on the workshop, and also describing what type of

scenario it was. After all this time! 🙄

Guys, i just updated my All Terrains Compilation list

with new terrains but as im sure you may know by now that when the thread is updated

it goes hidden. Its been reported and waiting approval from the mods. Cheers!

Guys letting you all know that my All Arma 3 Terrains Compilation List which is

in the addons and mods complete part of the forum, that when i update the list, meaning adding new terrains

or whatever, that the list will go hidden.

      I've had several pms in the past and recent from concerned members about my list being taken down, removed,

or just not there, its understandable but please understand that the forum hides the list anytime i update the list

i have this noted on the list itself.

   The same thing happens with the script and addon and mods list of my Ai compilation list so just letting those who

use my lists or would be users about the situation with them. Any questions i suppose you can ask in reply to this

or send me a pm. Cheers!

Just to let all of you know whom have received a "chat" or message from me on discord, or steam, thats not me

apparently my steam account got hacked, as did one of my other friends from what i heard, thanks to Neoarmageddon whom is one of my

steam friends explained to me what happened and how to fix it, so i did and everything works again.

Would like to share something with the community here since im here alot, home away from home so to speak.

As some of you whom come to know me through pm talks and maybe through steam chat, i work a 3rd shift, full time job a night (9pm-6-9am)

well i normally go to bed about 12noon everyday, wake up about 7:30pm to leave by 8pm and start at 9pm, anyways last night (12th) i get up turn on my phone as usual (i have a flip phone), and as im getting dressed for work, i get 2 text messages from my mother who lives in Florida with my dad, im in Illinois USA btw.

     Anyways the first text says "Grandpa isn't doing so well, and aunt and uncle are there along with grandma" that was at 12:30pm about 30min after i went to bed , then the 2nd text she sent was at about 1:09pm saying "grandpa has passed"  😭.... Well that just devastated me.

    

       My grandparents live in Ontario Canada. at the top of the peninsula off the Georgian Bay, they have lived there since the 1950's, they've been farmers for like 50yrs or something, but they retired like in 2000 i think and were living in a house across from the farm and my uncle took over the farm. My grandparents are from Holland from friesland and lived through the occupation of the Germans during WW2, crazy shit btw.    For the past 6yrs i think they have been in a retirement home as both my grandparents health deteriorated my grandpa is 93, and my grandma is 91, they live in like a condo type place that has a nurse staff to watch over them.

   Well for the past 2 yrs, i would call them once a month to see how they are doing, my grandma in better shape then my grandpa and my grandpa has had triple bypass like 10yrs ago and was doing fine for a while, but in the past couple of years things just got worse, so he would have heart issues, and fluid would collect in his lungs, and almost everyday they would have to drain it.   Well last night apparently he passed from it.

    As i drove to work i literally started crying thinking about it, by the time i got to work i was all choked up and trying to hold back my tears,

i was more torn about it at work then while on the road, it was hard for me to keep a straight face, no one knew what had happened, i only told the guy i work with and i broke my face and started crying, i couldn't help it.

      So for like 4 hours the tears would come and go, i would get so choked up, i thought i had to go home because i couldn't hold myself together but i persevered and got through the night, im still sad and still feel like crying i couldn't handle it at work though, i never felt like that before.

       Thing is this is very personal to me because for my first 5yrs of my life, my mother left for nursing school, and left me with her parents on the farm,

so my grandparents, raised me for those 4-5 first years, my grandpa was literally my father as my real father... well never met him so im not going to go there.

      I was considered a youngest brother out of 8 uncles, and 3 aunts and my mother being the oldest, anyways before i give you my whole life story lol

just thought i'd share something that was sad and very dear to me that happened last night. Cheers!

Got home from work today about 8am, as some of you know i work a 3rd shift.

All night long i've had a slight tooth ache, about halfway through the night i got two aspirin from my supervisor, so that knocked out the pain for almost 3hrs, then

it started up again towards the end of the night, guy i work with had some aspirin in his car, so took that before i left for home, worked.... for an hour.

 

       I get home 8am, i get to bed ended up tossing and turning til 11am, from there til  3pm i tried everything under the sun til take this pain away i was in agony, finally

got hold of a dentist on his emergency number, he told me to take a certain type of aspirin and then he sent a prescription order for antibiotics to a local pharmacist by me.

     I go there get everything, take them, lie down pain subsides after about an hour, so i go back to bed its now like 7pm sat, i actually fall

asleep as im so tired, been up since 8pm the previous day, tossed and turned but felt like i slept, woke up 3hrs later and here i type this, my left bottom gumline is inflamed,

i got an ice pack on it, already taken another aspirin and antibiotic which is taking its dam time to do anything.

 

The irritation and pressure are driving me mad, hard to even concentrate, ya i should go to the dentist, problem is their all closed and dont open up til monday, i already have an

appointment to get my tooth pulled, im actually looking forward to it, i had so much planned, and to do for this weekend, and so far i spent almost half of it in pain

and without sleep, now that im up i cant get back to sleep, wtf, thats my weekend so far.

Hey guys, going on a trip out to Delaware to help my brother build a deck, i leave at 6am this morning (3hrs)

and wont be back til Friday afternoon the 24th, so if anyone needs me thats where im at and wont be online til i get back,

I will be updating my AI List when i get back among other things.

Haven't written on here in a while,

last time i said something was about the situation with my truck how it broke down on the way to work, rather died on me,

was a 1997 Chevy S10 owned it for 18yrs.

 

Well End of October i bought a car from my neighbor 2 buildings over from me as i live in an apartment, this guy is in his 60's, and retired, he has 3 cars,

one of which i bought his oldest which was a 1995 Ford Taurus, body is in mint condition, no rust, interior is pristine, just about new everything, 65,000 miles on it

the guy babied it, and is original owner aside his father whom bought it when the car first came out, but passed away some months after.

 

      Well bought the car for $1200, it drove fine, no issues, all i put into it was oil change, gas, and a car wash, as soon as it got cold transmission started

acting up, it got worse to the point where it wouldn't go past 40mph so it wont shift into 4th gear. Now December about 2 weeks ago now, on the way home from work,

i got half way home, stopped at a store picked up a couple things i needed (food), go to leave, turn onto the main road and my steering locks up, wtf...

 

Pulled into a parking lot next to me, had to call for a tow as you couldn't steer the car, got it towed back home.

Had a mechanic come out and look at it, says rack and pinion went out, and is jammed, no leaks, another issue we discovered is the engine cradle is badly

rusted, so now it becomes a safety issue, another wtf.

 

So here i am for almost 2 weeks getting a ride to work, lucky from a guy i work with and for 8yrs at that,

anyways my mother sends me a chat message on skype on Christmas day and tells me to call my dad on his cell phone as she has

to work and he has off, so i call, talk to my dad he knows about my car situation, so he says he found a car that hes going to buy me,

only has 113,000 miles on it, had only one owner, and was used only by a government agency which kept up on the maintenance.

 

Hes going to take it to a shop and get it checked out, with another mechanic as he used to work on cars himself, clean it up, ect,.

and drive it up to where i live which is like a few states north of him as he lives in Florida, im in Illinois.

 

    So this will happen right after new years, well hearing this i was austruck, and surprised as first i was going to ask him how i can pay him back

and he said dont worry about it, he says just focus on your debt you been working on, and getting ahead.

       So i got to say my new years will start off to a great start, im going to have to salvage the other car because you cant drive it, pay off the

little remaining of my debt i have, and this new year i have some big compiling projects i been wanting to do for the arma3 community but been stressed

out and bogged down with real life bullshit, like debt and car troubles since August, as well as alot of overtime at work 10-12+hrs a night to be exact as

we are in the busy season, the money helps but trying to do projects for arma when your tired, your not going to get to far or at all.

 

I wish i can do my projects full time, as im getting sick of my job, been at it for 8yrs working 9pm to 7am 3rd shift schedule, i hope the new year will bring

me some new ideas to get out of my job too as i'd rather work for myself online then killing myself at a job which takes most of your energy.

Hey guys a new tutorial video i created.

After viewing a few videos on the subject i found them not very efficient, or professional if you will, lacking details,

and somewhat sloppy on how they presented the information, so i created my own.

As simple as the information in the video it is, presentation is a matter of writing a script, so the information

you are presenting is organized and accurate. Then after recording, editing the video took the longest i spent over 8hrs

on it to add the right comments at the right points, and implement subtle music too as to not distract the view from the information.

 

Also is a written guide in the video's description with time stamps for the steps and some important points.

More tutorials to come!

Past few days have been hectic for me, this past Thursday night on the way to work (i work 3rd shift 9-6am) im on the highway going

about 65 mph and about 15min from work, all a sudden my truck (Chevy S10, 2 door, extended cab, 4 cylinder pickup) lol stalled on me,

so i pulled it to the shoulder 2 lanes over, let it come to a stop on its own.

 

   Put my hazards on and tried to start it, wouldn't start, so i called the guy i work with who was on the way as he starts an hour later then me,

he picked me up, and when i was on break i called my insurance whom i get roadside assistance from, i had my truck towed to a mechanic shop

i go to, and after i got home Friday morning i called the shop, they inspected the truck, told me the timing chain is broke, engine would have to come out,

then too theres no guarantee that just fixing that would solve the issue.

 

   So i told them no, thing is i've had my truck for 18yrs ;) the mechanic said that for the amount of time you got out of the vehicle,

you far exceeded your money's worth for it, and especially for a 4 cylinder.

Well long story short, i had the truck towed back home, and there it sits, cant start it, its dead in the water as they say, so im currently looking to get

a cheap used car to just get around for now til i save up some more money and can afford something better.

         This was kinda of a reality check for me, but i sit here typing this and dont really feel bothered about it, i mean i love my truck, i miss it already but i

guess its telling me time to move on and get something newer and better. In the past i would be all stressed out, worried, nervous, but i guess growing up is a good thing,

i sound sorta of retarded when i say that but, i guess you can say its been 18yrs of the same thing for me so its a new situation.
