Looking good Minimalaco. Some inspiration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Ez_prCmpY (The Battle of Derapet - Fought in the Deh Rawood Region of Oruzagan, from your map pic, your modelling this exact area :) ) -

Hey mate, looking good. Just curious, what area of Uruzagan are you focussing on? Around Tarin Kowt? Over to the west around Deh Rawood or the north near Baluchi? Also, if you can, try not to use objects that require CAA1 download, or other island. If you can stick to OPX, OA and Mikebarts Veg, I'll be one happy man. Here is an archive of images from the Australian Defence Force, look through the 'Afghanistan' pictures, all of which are set in Uruzagan. http://www.defence.gov.au/media/download/archive.htm (Search trough 2010, of which will be image galleries, read description to see if they are Afghan based pics) -

Woah, just read through your release pdf. Amazing! Thankyou for including the SLR for us aussie folk :), amazing weapon it is. Looking forward to release! Any future plans of including Aussie Units? -
I say 8 haha. ;)

You need to put the @ANZAC folder into your main ArmA 2/ArmA 2:OA folder. Then, in your shortcut, in the 'Target' field, ensure you have ...\arma2oa.exe" -mod=@ANZAC

Australians at War Addon Team
the_antipop replied to [xdf]kanga's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Just talked to a source in the ghan. The Bushmasters were supposed to be fitted with 50's with MTF-1's trip, but they don't have enough weapons and cradles, but they are capable/meant to have them. (That's the Inf Bushy). SOTG and Dutch Bushy's do have 50's already. SOTG are the only one's meant to have the Mrk19. -

Yeah I can confirm aimpoints and acogs on 58's. Saw them at highrange with MTF-1 Pre-Deployment. Btw, here was Gooses ref pic - http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx297/goose633/work/20091011adf8115142_082.jpg (found it when I quoted) [That looks like a 2CDO BMR though, not Inf] -
Looking sexy crash. Can't wait. Will the F/18 make the patch? Any new progress with Bushy or C-17? Thanks Anti

"Connecting Failed" on locally hosted Dedi?
the_antipop replied to the_antipop's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
See that's the thing, I have no idea. I've opened some ports to the dedicated IP and not mine? I'm now running no-ip on it so it has a static ip... but it was wasnt working before I did that, and still no change... I'm lost... -
"Connecting Failed" on locally hosted Dedi?
the_antipop posted a topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Hey guys, I'm running a small dedicated server for my clan at the moment whilst we are in limbo between hosting companies, but lately I can't connect to it? It's running on my network, just a spare PC. I'm getting 'Connecting failed' everytime I try and join. I've restarted my PC, restarted the server... still the same problem. Although, I could connect to it last night...??? I can join any other normal server, it's just not working for mine...? I can see it in the server browser though...? It is working though, people have been connecting and playing, but I can't join...? Is this a known issue? Does anyone know a fix? Thanks Anti -

Hey man. This looks amazing. Downloading now. Being an Aussie, we operate out of Uruzagan. Would be unreal if you could fully finish it and implement the OA buildings. :) Can see a campaign coming along haha -

British Troops DLC released & Official 1.01 Update
the_antipop replied to Pauldarrington's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Any word on whether Aussies/NZ's would be incorporated aswell, as throughout the years, whenever British army is deployed, we get dragged along too. :p As from the words of Rommel himself to a captured British soldier prior to D-Day, "The british are actually fighting this time?", "what do you mean sir?", "well, they usually get the Australian's or New Zealander's to fight for them" haha. -
When you are helping Crash with the mod, hear 25 April is release, then 1 May and don't hear from him, this is the easiest way to ask. No need to get angry.
-
Hey Crash, just curious if ANZAC mod had a new planned eta? Any updates or screenies? Thanks
-
Ah, that sucks Crash. But take as long as you need. As long as the first release is good to rock I'll be happy. Good luck with your pc man. :)

Yeah, the F88SA2 was just an interim weapon that was given to infantry troops serving in the Ghan and Timor Leste. The F88SA3, which will be the final Steyr for the Australian Army has had an image posted in the Latest A&NZ Defender and will see use till 2020, when the Australian Army's whole small arm's library will be reformed with new weapons. (including personal weapon, light MG, heavy MG)
