I really think the devs/placebo should make a big Q&A sticky that covers all user questions and all dev replies. I'm sick of having to read through 1000000000000 posts in 999999 different threads to track all of ohara's and maruk's replies. I have study to do! edit: it could go something like: Member: wtf is this rabble rabble dev replies: your answer has been posted in the Q&A Sticky.

I realise that but it was just a suggestion and I think it would stop people from asking the same question 9999999999999 times. Obviously that would reduce the workload of placebo too!

The fuck? An expansion already?! This is madness! I would hope that the game is fixed before the expansion is released. However, I assume this is done because after the game is finished you have a whole bunch of full-time employees doing nothing (most of the bug checking is done by the coders I would assume). May as well pay them to do something right? :P -

FYI the game script is unplayable on large servers. I tried out 40 players and it was desyncing to a point where the game basically froze. Anyone else tried large missions with the script?

1. SP campaign = unplayable. You may as well call it uncompletable unless you want to constantly restart your mission over and over and over again until you finish it. 2. 50+ isn't exactly rare, but I wouldn't expect to jump on any time and have always be able to join one. 3. This is a bit of a problem at the moment because the game is relatively new. Give it a few months when all the noobs have left and public may actually pick up in team work a bit. At the moment though you basically have to join a clan or a well administrated server in order to get a good game. I'd recommend Tactical Gamer if you live in the states (even if you don't, I play with them and I'm from Australia). They are serious about the game 24/7 and 99.99% of the players have the right mind-set. 4. don't really know about this but it depends a lot on the missions if you will get de-sync or not (99% are user created). If it is designed well and the server is fast then the game will run fine. It's only when missions start using 9999 scripts that things can go wobbly. 5. Still quite a few bugs, but MP wise nothing that really stands out. It's easily playable and the bugs go unnoticed for me at least 6. AI is 100x better than arma 1 but still has it's 'dumb moments' nothing too bad though 7. no the AI does not perform differently depending on how fast your CPU is. What kind of retarded rumour is that. -
Do I need to set up all those spawn points if I only want to revive on the field? What are the uses of it?

I'm sorry, but the current space bar thing is retarded. I can never remember the 9999 combination for each command so I always go to the backspace menu.

Hey, I have this mostly working except one problem. I have the crew standing outside of the vehicle. I assign each one a certain role (e.g. gunner, commander etc). I place a 'SENTRY' waypoint on their position and a 'GET IN' waypoint on the vehicle. It works fine apart from one problem. No matter what combat mode or behaviour I set they ALWAYS engage the contacts first. example: Set combat mode to 'never fire': + crew is engaged upon + crew starts to engage the enemy, but just runs towards them and doesn't fire as they are set to 'Never fire'. + after standing around for a while they start running back to the vehicle + crew get shot up because they are stupid. Is there a command I can use to ensure they do not engage at all and run straight to the vehicle. So far I've tries disableAI 'TARGET' and also 'AUTOTARGET'. Thanks.

i tried disableAI target and autotarget but I didn't try the sleep bit. What does that do?
