    If there is one thing obvious, its that there's a lot of tension around the office atm :) . Nothing much to talk about the assets or the suicidal AI driving into a tank except Altis itself, which is nicely done. I guess changes to the engine and physics had its effects on the number of assets available. Also note that it means new tools and methods for everyone as well. Personally I never liked drones but its great to hear that some assets and Altis will make it to the dev build as it will provide more feedback just before the release. Community created content and missions will definitely help cover the lack of campaign.

    do the followinf;

    1- Disable everything in AA & PP tab

    2- Lower texture/objects/terrain to high.

    3- set sampling to 88 %

    4- increase visibility to 1200 and objects to 1100

    this should give you a base.

    from there on first set sampling to 100% and play with AA & PP settings. keep in mind that AA will significantly effect your FPS. Also depending on the ingame activity FPS can go down to 20-25s temporarily which is OK for Arma. and make these changes in game rather then on the file.

    Just tried by deleting the cfg and letting OA build it again. There is definitely a problem there.

    The performance value is now negative. Vram is half of what my card has ..ie 512MB vs 268k detected. Nonlocal vram is 0 as opposed to previous 2.2GB .

    As a result the LOD level is extremely low even though all the settings are high/veryhigh ingame. So there is definitely an issue with detection.

    So it is great if I keep my old cfg but when it builds a new one, it is not acceptable and should be fixed.

    you need to set the resolution to your monitor's native resolution.

    3D resolution is like Full screen AA. Arma2 renders the image at the 3D resolution but scales it down/up to monitor resolution.

    So set the resolution to your monitor's native.

    Play with 3d resolution and antialiasing to get better image quality.

    Also lowering view distance increases FPS. As infantry you wont need more than 2k but set it to 3k.

    Rebel;1786851']hi.... can anyone tell me why I get kicked off from the servers immediately I join? With this message: "You were kicked off"

    May that be the reason that I updated to the newest patch and most of the servers are not at the moment?

    I found one server which works fine... but the remaining ones do not.

    ---> here is the reason...quickfix until hotfix released is rename to dubbing_baf.pbo_OFF

    Just to post it on the official thread

    FILE: BAF > Addons > dubbing_baf.pbo

    PROBLEM: Signature file is missing/wrong causing kicks from sig check enabled servers.
