  1. If you are having too many crash problems with the new 8800GTS 512 and newest drivers, try using the initial 169.09 driver that comes with the card.

Eventually, you could try http://migrate.armedassault.eu/recorder/ which should definatly work. No luck with the IP you've given. Pinging the www.armedassault.eu successfully resolves to a different IP...88.84.133.7. The Java plugin site you've provided in the message works OK tho.

    yep..old one is ok but with www.armedassault.eu i get; Server Default page If you see this page it means: 1. hosting for this domain is not configured or 2. there's no such domain registered in Plesk What you can do: Using Plesk, you can create domains with web hosting on a single physical server. SWSOFT Plesk........... DNS/Forwarding Error perhaps???

    it should be pretty straight forward Try with one addon..matt's... Make sure; -Server: Your "Keys" folder under Arma root. -Server: Keys have the extension of ".bikey" -Client: Signature files (ones with ".bisign" extension) are next to the addons in the same folder and they are for the addons version you are using. -Server: that you do not have equalmod=1 in your server config. You are being drawn into some agnostic situation if these dont solve your problem. "Our patience is wearing thin"

    If possible we need, 1) VON speaker/mic volume adjustment option in Audio Options 2) Option to turn off ONLY regular kills not friendly kills. (we cannot identify team killers with KILL MSG OFF) There seems to be some improvement to the lag/desync and teleporting issues which is really great. VON; Nice to have voice activation (transmitting when you talk only). The signs when you toggle VON should be replaced to a better position. It still breaks up and stops functioning from time to time..really hard to identify when and why. Need some guidance on possible reasons to narrow them down ie can it be gettin in and out of a vehicle or switching to a certain channel at a certain situation. It is hard to find out when you do alot of things during playing.
  7. I have an XFX 8800 GTX and a Gateway 24" HD monitor and my settings are set at 1920X1200, but I don't have the level of detail you do in your pics and all my settings are on very high....is there that much difference in 1920X1200 and 2560X1600? try increasing the DX LOD Level of detail

  14. 2 methods for you.. either 1) you host the game on your PC thru multiplayer/new section. You need to change your ingame settings or select veteran at the mission select screen. 2)You launch a dedicated server on the main server. You need to define the server profile and adjust settings in this file. For this use -profiles= command in your server startup line. For more detail check biki's dedicated server section as suggested.

    1-If you are getting an error of "...pbo not signed" , maybe you are missing the actual signatures of the addons  What error are you getting? 2-If you are getting session lost, regularcheck="{}"; might help. 3-you dont need to use checkfiles= while using signature check. Sign will verify them as well.
  16. In addition to all the suggstions, try using the truerangeAI addon. It will increase AI's recognition and shooting range and you'll have longer firefights.

    Server config

    everything seems to be mixed up in your post.. network traffic settings goes to arma.cfg server settings goes to server.cfg option settings (vet/cadet etc) goes to server.ArmAProfiles some ather info provided in description.ext in the missions folder. The option in class missions does not define how the veteran/cadet should be but select the option. You can do this in-game at the mission start as well. I suggest you take a look at each of these in the BI wiki. There are many forums with info on what does what etc..just search..

    Norrin hi, I hope you don't leave it totally because developing a script is an ongoing process. I'm sure you know it much better. It's not like write and forget. Take it easy on all your scripts a bit and decrease the frequency of changes. That way you wont be dealing with them all the time. Nice job m8 and have a nice break...

You are also too "confused" because you are under the impression that such "any news?" comments will accelerate the process. They will post it when its ready, not because you asked about it.   25. How can I make a soldier shout globally under MP-dediserver ? I want them to say an existing voices under sounds\mmissions\brian\univ.... For example I've defined it in description.ext as class CfgSounds { class BrianRun { name="Brian-Run"; sound[]={"\ca\sounds\missions\Brian\UNIV_v04.ogg",0.05,1.0}; titles[]={}; }; }; then in the script.sqf file when player w1 dies... w1 setVehicleInit "this say 'BrianRun' "; processInitCommands; Is that it? Will he shout globally? Or should I do something different to play univ_v04 on each connected player triggered by the death of w1.
