cpucount -> it is to limit the number of cpus to be allowed rather than cpu affinity which also specifies which core to use. exthreads -> =1 is used when the server is pentium or dualcore. Default is cpucount=4 and exthreads=7 which creates a problem with cpus with less then 4. This is fixed in the latest OA beta release. PS..very nice tool Tophe. three suggestions from me -> -option to start the server as service -command line "launch server" like "c:\TA2DST\ta2dst.exe -myserver1.ta2dstprofile" -little info screen where you can see all the arma/arma2/arma2oa servers(or services) running. Perhaps with port and profile info.

Global ban lists cannot be trusted. Perhaps you can use it only within a tight group where there is a "banning procedure" to which all admins abide. So that you can be sure that a player is not banned on first instance by a power hungry admin ;).

reduce your maxmsgsend to 512 then check again.... you can try 256 as well .

yes...this beta server crashes BUT I cannot confirm 100%. Tried one takistan mission and it crashed but a zergabad mission did not.

Hell no !! They were like ice skaters. With some more stability to vehicle driving, it is good atm. Cheers.

network/bandwidth related settings should be in basic.cfg (or arma2.cfg) server settings like passwords, signatures, von, mission cycles etc should go into server.cfg.

Just make sure you are downloading the correct ACE version ( for OA/CO or for regular ArmA2)

You only pay if you want to choose your side. It is totally free if you leave it to the admins (ie go Random). You'll be placed in an appropriate army depending on army numbers. Just register on the forums and post in the "Random Placement" thread ;) .

You need to make your initial settings with AddonSync. Go to the Settings tab and set it up properly first. Also make sure the path shown in Download_Tab is correct and as intended. It works as it should. You can download ACE2OA-1.5b or the old ACE2-1.3RC1 & the userconfig. Post @ dev heaven or YAS thread if you are having any problems using it.
