    Extremly bad Russian TRANSLATION

See that. There goes your rumour, everyone wave bye bye to it. Look, if anyone here has done a shite job its the publisher. Address the problem to them in this case. If they start to blame BIS they're only trying to shove the problem onto someone else. You've had your answers from a dev ladies and gentlemen.

    SJB Weapons Pack

...and you can tell its exactly the same model from a simple screenshot can you? Cause, correct me if im wrong like, but most PSG1's would resemble the same shape, thus a model of a PSG1 would look very similar to a model of another PSG1. Just my two sarcastic cents... Btw, this model shite was discused to death before now, lets not do it all over again shall we?

    Game2

You have to understand, ArmA, as many people might not think has only been under serious development for a year and a bit. It was originally intended as a thing for the fans to bid their time with whilst BIS worked on Game 2, which will be one of the most amazing things ever. ArmA was really i supose can be said a by product of the idea for the OFP:E of which engine it is based off, all be it an improved one, it is still Poseidon 1. Game 2 (not OFP 2, read about copywrite etc) is going to use an engine called Poseidon 2. That will be completely new code. Not based off something else. And to confuse you further, Codemasters are looking for staff for a Operation Flashpoint 2 (un-sucessfully so far as we know) P.S. Bear in mind that BIS isn't a massive company like some of these other game developers so dont expect BF shite of trillions of new versions out every second

An open letter to the ArmA community.

Tbh, The 505 games street release date is more of the time that I expect BIS would of liked to have released at. Gives them more time to sort out bugs then. This German and Czech release really was designed to test the market, most fans where expected to buy it and BIS knows how good a beta testing audience you lot are. Thus, thanks to you it gets bug free. If you think its a disgrace, or get annoyed by this, then oh dear, what a pitty, never mind. Allow it to be patched, BIS fixes things.

    Multiplayer Map Indicators (Poll)

Do some fire control order training mate Works like a charm with our lot. You can delete old markers, hover over it with the mouse and press the delete button (not backspace). Voila. Use different colour markers etc as well, blue, green, red (pressing down on your arrow keys whilst you have the typing box up, left and right change the type of marker.

    Authentic sound & weapon Mod

@simba Why make it automatic when the weapon isn't? The weapon used by the standard Inf, not SF, is the M4. The SF geeza's use the M4A1. The original M4 (no extra designtion on the end) used a S-1-3 trigger group. Thus its correct. Want a full auto M4, use the SF's ones... @Big How close where you shooting? The rifles are meant for distance work and therefore zeroed much further out. @ThePredator So far from what I've seen and heard I love it. Great work. I would say the value on the M4A1 QDS is a bit low, took me 6 shots to the centre mass of a civi to take him down. Maybe up the damage value slightly. Looking forward to the complete version

    Latest screenshots available

Incorrect, a number of these modders are coming together for the Germany 85 mod which has already been started. It could be likely that a lot of newer fresh blood might enter the modding world for armed assault aswell. Giving them the space to breath might lead to some really impressive stuff. Tbh, there doesn't look that much wrong with that, because its not a "hill" in the middle of a town, if you look its the edge and it is more of a cliff face aswell. You forget that VBS2 is for the military and was never meant for the public really. Game 2 will have what VBS2 has and better I expect, but, the stuff in VBS2 you would harld y use, and the stuff you did would probably take too long to code into ArmA. Theres a reason why when VBS goes public it'll be so expensive you know. You want to put that all in arma and release it to make it the only realy realistic shooter. That would not only dent the sales of the game its self as not everyone is interested in that sort of gameplay, and trust me, theres alot more people who play things like BF2 and other arcade type games. Bis in the end want to make a profit, they have to survive somehow, and they wont do it my holding charity carwashes (however amusing that may be)

Why the buildings arent destroyed like in VBS???

Actually, its not, becuase the VBS1 Module for dynamically destroyed buildings was never released. You only see a few buildings colapse, not an entire city which is what some people want. Therefore, the arguement still stands, as the VBS building distruction was never run on modern computers. BIS doesn't just cater for people with the best computers in the world you know.

Why the buildings arent destroyed like in VBS???

People on this subject seem to forget the huge amount of resources it would take for the buildings to be dynamically destructable. Think about it, you've seen the size of some of those citys, imagine a arty strike on them and the amount of CPU power it would need to "dynamically" destroy those buildings. It seems these days what ever BIS seems to do, they always get asked to do something else better, or that after they've gone to the effort of making something, the people on this forum go and moan at them for doing it. Its being to get old and annoying. You dont know what it really is like at the moment. You wont know what it is like until you get the damn game installed on your computer and you try to blow up the building. Would you rather have a crumpled mess? I think not. So stop moaning and wait for the finished product. Plus another thing. Search the forums first, like the post above shows, you would have found an answer.

    Where to buy ??

Hate to tell you this, but you wern't ignored, you just didn't have a suitable publisher therefore, no publisher for you has been secured. The only places who have release dates atm only have them because the publishers they are using agreed to BIS terms. Therefore if you want to blame anyone, blame the publishers over there.

    Online Distribution System - Confirmed

I wouldn't persoanlly mind too much about downloading the game, but now that theres this new Special Edition around I would really like that instead, and downloading a t-shirt and dogtags, well it aint possible. What i would like is if BIS made a boxed copy for release that you order from them and is sent to you, for those people still on 56k, yes there are some. Whilst still having the download option. The thing is alot of people have bandwidth limits, what happens if ArmA is too big to download. For example, I have a monthly limit of 2gb with my provider, if ArmA is like 2gb+ download, im fucked. So really, a boxed version, or atleast the option of it is much more prefered.

    ArmAs Cover Art

Jesus, yet another example of how this forum community makes sooooo much out of so little. I had a 15 certificate logo on my computer, I used it, doesn't mean ArmA is going to be a 15 ffs. This is just another example of how stuff gets blown completely out of the water over nothing on this forum. You people need to calm down.
