Nope its not texture positioning, basically when you make a model you assign the textures to be from \lol_infantry\hello.pac (this will get the textures from lol_infantry.pbo) in the p3d but when you want to retexture the addon you and you don't want it to replace the original addon you have to draw the textures from another file i.e. \cpl_infantry\hello.pac (this will get the textures from cpl_infantry.pac). Naturally you can edit addons in o2 but if the addon is in mdol format it can't be opend because the encryption is not compatible with o2 released by BIS. There is a program which allowed you to re-designate where to draw the textures but it doesn't seem to work with Windows XP.

I wanna stryker too Um a while ago TS asked if anyone was making a Stryker and i don't think anyone put up their hands, so hopefully TS is getting BAS to making one

yep i agree some of the stuff implimented in this will give BAS a run for their money and the textueres are 2nd to none.

Hi everybody, Like many of you I have noticed there isn't any good modern infantry in OFP, so with Suchey's permission I will be releasing his troops which I will be retexturing into woodland cammo and releasing them with RudeDog's Bradley Pack [view ref 1]. Anyway I hope to complete this before I start university. I've spent hours trying to get the colour right and I ask the community to approve of the colours before I add pockets, shadows and stitches [view ref 2 and ref 3]. I will also be starting on making desert varients both in the choc chip (91 Gulf War Cammo) and the newer 6 tone desert cammo which you can see on US infantry in Iraq and Afghanistan. ref 1 ref 2 ref 3

Personally I quite like their models...and i was going to suprise people but I've teamed up with someone and we are going to make a better infantry pack, i.e. remodel alot of the stuff and retexture to a better quality. I wont give out the persons name but they can post if they want to. Either way you will find out soon enough. But I won't be posting progress or anything sorry . It was meant to be a suprise but now I've seemed to notice that this addon pack has meant alot to you guys.

Each country's sf is unique in its own because each country uses its own weapons and equipment and cammo. So hence in my oponion it wouldn't be viable.

Thnx for the support people but to be honest I was making US infantry becuase in my oponion it was an addon needed in the game and hence I was making this addon to fill in the gap. But since modern US infantry has been released the gap has been filled, i'm not here to compete against other people or mods but to make the flashpoint experience better and more fun for the community to enjoy.

Okay we are using DSAs weapons but that doesn't mean we don't like other weapon models its just that we are looking for varients like the the m16a2/m203 which is very hard to come buy in the OFP world i.e. INQ or Eral havn't produced one. The weapon pack which I would like to see are as follows m16a2 m16a2/m230 m16a4 m16a4/m203 m4 m4/m230 m4a1 m4a1 Reflex m14 Aimpoint m60 m60a3 [the two handel varient (looks cool to me )] m240 m249 m249 para (may exclude this) m9 I'll talk to DSA to see if they can be jammed. If you have any ideas on what weapons should be included or rejected speak now or forever hold you peace.

I don't think they stole but if you read the README and i quote "If you want to use something from this addon, contact yours truly for written permission." and they didn't evan have the integrety to do the same. Its double standards but aside from that its a bloody good addon. To bad they didn't make a desert version which in today's world will be alot more heathed.

The reason why I don't believe in the code is that for starters the author of the bible was not mastered by Jesus it was founded futher in the AD times well past Jesus's death and yet I'm not christan I would believe it because we are taught that all religions are the same and god has put us in different religions and places. I don't know who wrote the bible but if Jesus has written the bible and fortold the future I would believe him.

ORCS show double standards if you ever read their readme files for their addon they always seem to write a clause something along the lines of "if you wish to edit this addon in anyway or distribute the edited filesplease contact us" and they don't evan have the greater respect to do the same. Double standards or what.

This is one thing I don't understand why can't they just spend 10 extra minutes and get the persmission of authors which usually say "yes". Instead of doing all this hooah which will take hours if not days to resolve.

Okay I'm about the start the body armour and I dont' know which one is used by the army The two which I'm stuck on are PASGT INTERCEPTOR which one should I do and which one does the US army currently use?
