    not much point contacting them as look at bottom of email u got In the event that you require any assistance activating / licensing your software please contact the Softwrap support centre via email at support@softwrap.com. If you have a technical problem with the title which does not involve licensing, please contact the author at arma@idea-games.com. More details are usually found within their application or on their website. contacting idea is only if u dont have a problem with your licensing but as u have no cd key like me we just have to sit around and spam softwrap support...lol

    TBH its probably going to better to wait for the uk release then order one from germany as the game is bound to be buggy at first....just look at ofp when it was 1.0 even at 1.96 there were still bugs....lol i just hope this time the bugs get ironed out quickly and we dont have to suffer for yrs smile_o.gif

    As there is going to be alot of unhappy people due to the release date in different countries at different times wouldnt it be alot better to release a demo that those who cant get hold of the game when its released, and make it that the demo allows players to at least get a taste of the online part of it until their country finally gets around to releasing it

    its all very well people commenting that the reason they are taking so long in releasing it in other countries because of the language in game having to be changed but why wait to release in england longer then november 30th as in most of the videos that have been released all i see is english language writing on the bottom. when soldiers speak.

    id even pay extra if the game was released on download via a site and then when the release date was in your country they sent you the dvd box of the game. but i suppose thats never going to happen. i just think is stupid releasing the gae in other countries first before others that arent even a stone throw away. and also to release it AFTER xmas in other countries.

    Well find a good server.. been playing ofp for 4 odd years.. although not played it in a while, as long as u find a good sever TBH your not going to find many cheaters.. In the 4 years playing on the LOL server www.nakedsquid.com I prob had to kick about 6 ppl.. thats what I love about this game.. yeah its probaly one of the crapist anti-cheat systems around.. but most of the comunity are mature enough not to cheat.

    Much of this reputation is perhaps caused by the fact that there is a large number of players from the military community. Although it is extremely easy to cheat in Operation Flashpoint, players rarely run into cheaters as often as in, for example, Call Of Duty..

    Seems like u havent played the game that much then, when ofp first came out i spent 20hrs a day playing the game then after about 6months doing that my body cried out for abit more sleep...lol, so i used to game 15hrs a day then, but the amount of cheaters i used to see in the game was unreal, take the ones using wireframe,speed cheats to name a few. it is true ofp and AA have to have the most stupidest anti cheat systems around, but the funniest i find is most servers now use a file checking one....lol how stupid can u get, they are the ones that seem to still have cheaters on them in fact some of them that own the servers are the biggest cheaters in the game.and these are so called mature players....more like immature

    Why they just couldnt release the game everywhere in the world on the same day i will never know, the amount of cheaters there will be in this game just sucks. i dont think i will even bother buying this game as i left OFP because of cheaters spoiling it,

    im going to blame the community for most of the cheater coming into the game as how many said they didnt want steam or PB, Also how many said they would rather have a box copy of the game then download it...Now think if you had kept your traps shut, we wouldnt be worrying about cheaters and pirates of the game we once loved.

    you tell this guy to try OFP for a taster of whats to come....well i wouldnt say do it as OFP has more cheaters in it the CS and the so called good file checkers that people use on their servers arent any good as cheaters still r around.... Also he wants a game thats gonna be fast well if u like sitting around in a lobby wasting 1 hr of ur life for a game to start then OFP is ur game...lol so id say OFP 0 BF2 2 as at least BF2 u dont sit around wasting away and also there isnt as many cheats..... lets just hope Armed Assault improves on the combatting cheaters rather then letting a game goto pot nener.gif

    id pay u 3`s $10 per month if it ment keeping cheaters at bay...lol

    thos that think $10 a month is bad, its cheaper sometimes then paying to rent a clan server as u always get someone not willing to pay as they r tight fisted

    maybe slightly off topic but i think it would be better if the servers were just rented out by certain companies or just run by BIS for a subscription purpose this way if BIS ran servers like World war II online then the subsciptions you pay would be put into the developing of new parts to the game thus causing gamers to save money on expantion packs, and also wouldnt have to wait 5 years...lol but would also mean there is less likely to be cheaters in games as all the files would be checked by one data base, this is why i find WWII online good for no cheaters... smile_o.gif i`m sure 99% would be ok paying $10-$20 per month to play a game if it ment it was being upgraded all the time, cause i know i would

    Also much fairer in league games as certain teams ive heard of in ofp if they lose they just ip ban u from their server and u drop out of games which i think is very childish......

    one thing i was thinking about lately was in armed assault if someone has a top of the range gfx card and has settings on high and they see bushes and hide in them will they just seem to be lieing on the floor in nothing to those with lower range gfx cards...Sorry if there has been a thread about this b4 but i have a life besides reading forums 24/7...lol

    the thing is Arma isnt getting made by EA and Arma will accutily play on normel PC not 2 CPU 3ghz state of the art stuff. wink_o.gif

    how can u state what the spec are going to be as Arma hasnt said yet and if u think back to when ofp first came out to what was a top of the range pc then it did require a 1ghz system to run a mission and i think at the time all those years ago 1ghz was quite a good machine,

    Scrub cyberpunk does play cti online as ive seen him on there a few times as compared to urself ive never come across ur name

    you check out the gfx between armed assault and ofp elite there isnt much difference as gfx goes, and lets face it there is probably more money to be made making it on colsoles then releasing it on pc format....

    i personally think that AA needs a anti cheat software added to it rather have to go on a server that has a filechecker running and still someone spoils the game via cheating.

    i play BF2 and PB seems to be doing its job in that game all u see in the game at moment is stat paddlers (exploiters of the game) that arent really cheating just exploiting a bug so PB wont kick them.

    whatever happens and whether BIS adds PB or anything else to the game as a anti cheat, cheaters are not going to stop trying to think of ways around it
