I really like the demo, except for the netcode. I play against a guy with a 400 ping, i shoot him strait in the head with 8 .50 AE shots, and because on HIS screen im a standing object and he has shot me with 15 9mm about 10 seconds after i shot him, I die.

Another thing i hope they carry over from the tiberium sun engine is the unit promotions, giving the units more abilities the more they fought, so you kinda took care of your units more.

While normally aircraft fuel is made to vaporize and disapate when brought into contact with air, in the case of this crash, it would have been surounded by a building, so the fuel would be kept in a liquid state, in which case it would burn extremely quickly and very hot. Steel will melt at the 1400-1500 degree C range, and it did in the wtc crash, and thats why the building fell in on itself, and aluminium will melt at a much lower temperature. Anyone ever thrown a coke can into a simple camp fire? while i know its a different quality and type of aluminium, but it still has a much lower melting temperature than other metals. this would explain the lack of wreckage, except for the wreckage found on the lawn and the other areas around the crash site.

They are making freelancer, which is supposed to be a modern elite, and is also a sequal to starlancer, it looks pretty cool. There is also a mmorpg being made by westwood that is also supposed to be like a multiplayer version of elite except fantastic looking, and thier was also "privatier" which is supposed to be the same thing again, except i think the guys lost thier publisher to it isnt being made anymore.

I love my dark templars. Im a fan of blizzard for starcraft, but i hated warcraft. Id say im more of a fan of westwood becuase ive just liked thier games more often, but im wating for my copy of warcraft 3.....

I not going to read any press about this game, whenever i do about a game im excited about, they always make it sound so cool, never pointing out the bad points, and i get all hyped up about it, and then get dissapointed. Not this time.

what i like to do, is never be the attcker, just the defender. Like holding people back agressively, (hand to the neck up against a wall and yelling at the as hard as possible usually makes them shit thier pants, or at least less enthusiastic). Also, a good way to hit someone back is hitting them as hard as you can with the palm of your hand, focusing on the bottom of your palm. This spreads out the force and hurts like fuck, but tends to not leave bruises.
