  1. :: Introduction :: Bad Frag is a Casual Milsim Community created back during 2014 all the way back in ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead, back then we were called 'Hyperion - Private Military Company' since then we have been going strong and we opted for a name change due to the original name not really suiting the way that we play. First and foremost we are a casual milsim community and that is that. To get it out the way the quickly and easily, we require nobody to always attend our sessions and we require nobody to attend training sessions or by any means flaunt a rank or anything like that. Our community maintains itself by an Administration which ensures that everything goes smoothly. However, we do have a ranking structure which is always rewarded and structured on people who have more knowledge of the game itself and the amount of over-all participation in events and general community based events we running. But of course, this doesn't mean they're better than anybody, everyone is on the same footing. Of course, if anybody joining the community is rather new to the game we are always willing to help teach the basics and the standards of Milsim. As a community we are always willing to help each other and get everything figured out. Nobody here is just another number or just another body, we appreciate everyone who shows that they'd like to be here. Of course, I'd like to say that the community isn't overly serious we like to laugh and joke around during the missions we do and outside of our missions. However, we always expect people to behave and not break the general rules of the community during said missions and respect professionalism. :: Events / Event Times :: Here are our event times that we play. As a quick note we do not expect everyone to attend every session during the week. Attend what you want to attend, just be sure to let us know if you can / cannot attend a mission as it helps gives us information for the eventual turn-out. - Cooperative [PVE] - [Large Scale] - Friday - Pre-Operation | 18:00 [GMT+0] - Friday - Mission Start | 18:30 [GMT+0] - Cooperative [PVE] - [Large Scale] - Saturday - Pre-Operation | 18:00 [GMT+0] - Saturday - Mission Start | 18:30 [GMT+0] - Skirmish [PVP] - [Biweekly] - Cooperative [PVE] - [Small Scale] - Event type changes weekly. - Sunday - Pre-Operation | 17:00 [GMT+0] - Sunday - Mission Start | 17:30 [GMT+0] :: Community Prerequisites :: - You must of the age of 16 or above, no exceptions will be made. - You must be willing to follow the rules of the community. - You must have Teamspeak 3 installed, or willing to install it. - You must have a microphone. - You must be able to understand and speak English. - You must active and / or willing to join our sessions. Also, to clear up a potential misconception about the group I would like to say that you are NOT required to own any of the official DLCs or the Creator DLCs for ArmA 3. If this content is being used it will be mentioned in the the sign-up posts we create. Whilst you do not require it I would suggest getting them if you can afford it so you don't have to miss out on roles or missions. :: How do I join? :: It's quite easy! All you must do really is simply contact one of us through Discord, Steam or even our own Teamspeak. You can contact a senior member in the community or a moderator which you can find which are easily recognizable. Of course, depending on the time it might be a few minutes before somebody responds but somebody will get to you in the end. Once that happens they'll happily give you the extra details and point you to the resources you need to join in on our sessions. Of course you can find our Teamspeak, Steam and Discord through these links. - Teamspeak - 176.31.102.200 Our Discord Our Steam Group If you have anything to ask me specifically you are completely free to add me [Archer] through Steam and I will give you any information you need or point you in the right direction. I hope that this post has given everyone enough information about community and I'm looking forward to seeing new faces, thank you. - Archer / Bad Frag Administration.
  2. As of late 'Hyperion - Private Military Company' or now known as Bad Frag has had a lot of changes ever since I last posted here. I also forgotten the password to my "Archer337" account and couldn't recover it for a while until I got a hold of my old email address again. Of course, we're still recruiting and always actively looking for new blood to bring into the community, if this is something that you're interested in feel free to contact me and follow the main post. I will try to keep this page updated this time and keeping everybody up to date to what we have been doing, for now we're doing a facelift in order to improve the community over-all. Thank you.

    Welcome to Glasgow

Well done, this is looking pretty great! Looking forward to seeing more of it.
  4. Congratulations on the release, really looking forward playing with these units with my buddies. Really, really good work. I'm looking forward to see future releases!

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

I don't see enough rails, 0/10. Glad to see that the M3A1 is getting some love though, I'm looking forward really looking forward to this update, keep it up!

    Global Mobilization

Gimme, I want those buildings. Loving the progress though, as said by Hvymtal, I've been looking forward to a replacement to Celle 2. My community has recently brought it back into their modpack just because we want to do some wonderful cold war era missions throughout the weekend. Along with that, well done with the Unimog it's absolutely fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing the details you guys put into the other vehicles / equipment for Global Mobilization.

    Global Mobilization

Glad to see it getting a fresh thread of its own. Have to say that this project is looking amazing, myself and a lot of my friends are looking forward to get our hands on this mod. (Hopefully sometime soon.) We love the era following with the fact we've really been wanting to get a hold of some really nice West & East German content. Looking forward to the release and for future updates, very good work!

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

Hey Devs. Thank you for the update, really liking some of the new equipment you guys have added, especially the Vz. 58s. They're looking pretty fab. Enjoying the neat little additions you guys have not teased before such as the ALICE pack and the Izh-18. [At least I think you guys didn't show it off.] - Really looking forward to what you guys will present in the future. I will ask if the Izh-18 sounds is just a placeholder for now? Doesn't sound too outstanding unlike the rest of the sounds for most of the equipment inside the mod, just a little quirk. However that doesn't bother me, I'll be using it for some neat little guerrilla missions. Once again, thank you very much, devs. Keep up the good work!
  9. Hey there. Despite the amount of work which would have to be put into this, I would honestly love to see OCAP return. My own group was looking forward to getting this implemented to see how our progress is during missions and how to learn from simple or dire mistakes, we usually write AARs so people can discuss how mission flowed followed with extra tips for the mission maker or to our own members in general, we originally wanted to add this but the problems which cropped up with the 64Bit update brought some issues. OCAP is a great little tool for current and potential future communities, it'd be great if the support would be continued for it, so I'll go for a yes. Though, I do agree with MrBagel. Aslong as you feel you're up for it rather then forcing yourself to do it would be better overall.

    Redd'n'Tank Vehicles

This seemed to come out of absolutely nowhere. Really enjoying using it already! Very good work on this vehicle, I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for it. Keep it up.

    German Armed Forces Mod

Amazing how much this project is coming along, I've been looking forward to eventually getting my hands on this since both myself, and my own community members are really wishing to pull off some alternative scenarios for the Cold War, it's something I believe that ArmA 3 is lacking sadly, this project seems to look to be a nice refreshing experience. The custom buildings look really, really nice followed with the terrain as a whole, I can see that a lot of research has been put into this and the progress / presentation really shows over the updates with each update shown to us. I do hope you release this, instead of worrying about these communities ruining it for the rest of us. But I can understand why it would feel terrible if these servers even attempted to create those types of scenarios and the reluctance to release it for that reason and the sensitivity behind it. Those types of communities are honestly a blight to the ArmA community as a whole, but I'm not going to go too much into that. Over-all though, Keep up the great work and don't let them discourage you, a lot of time and effort has been put into this to let it go to waste now, I'm really looking forward to see what else is going to be brought to the table!
  12. I believe when I played there were around 25 people playing at once, but there were some really odd connection issues also, so more could of joined but something really messed up that day. But it was fun nevertheless :)
  13. Hey man, nice video. Good to see that other people did the same thing also! Me and a group which I hang around [JTF207] We did our own anniversary also, it was a blast! We was going to do D-Day on the beaches like you, but due to some problems which we couldn't figure out. [it was de syncing a lot, no idea why] But after a small delay in doing our event we instead switched to the Aloft mission inside the I44 package. We were also running ACRE with it. Nobody but the RTO's had radios, so we had to use our voices to communicate basically and stay close to each other. We worked together and all that jazz. Believe it or not but we used Flash/Thunder, turns out earlier in the mission somebody decided not to use it and almost get lit up by a bunch of people inside another fire team xD After a lot of walking we finally gathered everybody up and started to take out the guns which people didn't do along the way! I've got some screenshots also :) Firing on a German Patrol Regrouping! Moving to the Final Objective Victory!! Sadly I don't think there is any videos mucking around yet. I'm not sure if anybody did but if so I'll link it soon. [No promises] But yeah, it was fun and again, good to see that others did the same. :) And I'm sure you guys had fun also!
  14. Poor poor Eggbeast.. :(
  15. When I do night ops which I have done with a few friends of mine. I normally have the moon out which seems to work very well. Though we did have problems sometimes with at least one of them not able to see the moonlight, but I believe it was problems on his end. Though it was really fun when it was being played at night. Though sometimes the AI did have a few problems once in a while, but that was quite rare. I did these night-ops on MBG Vietnam and again. It proved quite useful and we didn't need Night-vision or any sort of flash light. You could look into that if you want to do night-ops or anything like that.
  16. Hey guys. I'd like to say what a nice release this is. I've already toned up some of my time in the editor trying to make some decent enough scenarios already, resulting in myself somehow crawling into bed and sleeping on the spot. [Editor takes so much energy :(] Right now I'm trying to make a mission on MBG Vietnam, possibly having to do with the whole map being a danger zone :3 But enough of that. I guess I have to say how much of a really nice release this is. I've been following this mod for quite a while and I have to say i've enjoyed this release more than I expected. So I thank you once again. Can't wait to see what you guys have in stock for the future! Also. The only problem I've been facing with Unsung is the support module. No bugs or anything, just my stupidity mixing in with `Accidently` napalming myself. :(
  17. Congrats on the release guys! Really enjoying this beta a lot. I played Part 1 of Terror of Tarawa, and you really did a good job. I hosted a small session today, had some random people come onto the server and such. Was very fun. Taken atleast 2 hours and 30 mins to complete the entire thing. I hope to see a lot more of these missions in the future. Really good job guys! Can't wait to see what the future holds for you guys!

    Hell in the Pacific MOD

Oh man. I can't wait to storm the beaches once again. First it was Normandy, then the Japanese occupied islands. From seeing from all the screenshots posted both on the blog and on this thread, I don't even need to play the mod to see that you've done a nice amount of work and put alot of time and effort into it. Hopefully it'll be out when I'm awake in the morning. Again, can't wait to start making alot of missions for this for my community. Many hours shall be spent on this mod alone :D Also, I need to ask. Is it wrong that I've been up all day waiting for this mod though its due for tomorrow/today? It's 2:23am for me right now and I'm gladly waiting for that release link to come up :3 Yeah, I totally have no life :(
  19. I've been wondering if there's going to be any plans for the old map named Oosterbeek back in the old Invasion 1944 mod all the way back on OPF? It seemed as if the map wasn't finished yet but I haven't seen anything about it. Is the I44 considering on remaking it for ARMA 2 or leaving it with the old version?

    Hell in the Pacific MOD

Come on guys. Release the mod already, Its killing me Q_Q. But in all seriousness. I like seeing the progress develop on this mod. I've been waiting for a mod like this for a long while now the closest I've ever got into the pacific war in these games is the mod all the way back in Cold War Assault which I don't remember who made it, but sadly it wasn't finished. Hopefully you guys can fill in this side of the war for me pretty well, totally going to play this the first day its released. Me and alot of my friends are watching this also. Can't wait! :D
  21. Ah, alright then. I apologise.
  22. Hey guys. Just recently downloaded the patch for Invasion 1944 and I've just found a small bug already. I'm not sure if your aware of this problem either. But anyway. I've just gone into Mission editor and I've just checked out afew things. And this came to my attention, a unit from the British side, which follows from this path. Side: Bluefor Faction: [i44] British Army Class: Men - Airborne Unit: Commando It seems as if the body is `Missing` which results to this. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92524808&insideModal=1 But anyway, hopefully this helps out.
