Well, I am so sorry but YES. I need your help. But the issue is, when I tried this, I used an invisible helipad, and now, to be sure, I used a visible one. First problem, I am unable to put the helipad on rooftop, tried just adjusting height and copytoclipboard. Nothing. -

Or use this wrokaround, kinda what I proposed you in your other post: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0hc8megkwhpg2mg/airport%2520attack%2520test.Stratis.rar It is a workaround, using one singe unit, and hiding it is completely optional, indeed it does not hide in vehicles... weird. But you will be able to establish order of destruction.... Take in count accurancy is not the same everytime you try, sometimes the helo diez in 1 second, other takes 10... Combine it with "hit" eventhandler and your results will be more or less the same on every try... -

Hello, I have interest on this. Andrews, you better use this in a script or on act of a trigger. Did it work? I suppose yes. Iceman, what about existing buildings. For example, I want scriped waypoints for several units in different groups on the same building, so doing it via editor would be extremely messy. So if this method Works, Placing a logic in the building, creating a waypoint position logic, and setWaypointHousePosition could be the solution. Thanks in advance -

Easy workaround, but the scene will be different every time probably. First: helis attack empty vehicles if they are enemy ones, I've seen this behaviour before. But if you want some "order of destroying" it is easy. First: check reveal, doTarget, doFire, those kind of commands in the comREf. Second, a script that has the list of things to be targeted, and setcaptive all them, except the first. Then order the heli to attack the first, once is destroyed, setcaptive false the second thing to destroy, repeat process with the third and so on... -

No, you do not have to put unit's name in quotes. Don't know why is happening this, try naming the chopper with just "heli", maybe "helicopter" is a game's reserved expression.... -

Sorry, I've never used unitPlay, but I'm curious about....why not leaving the firing directly to the AI, tweaking it with reveals, dofire etc..? -
Thanks cool. Understood. Just a suggestion, as you are leading the evolution of this script: could be a fine adition if the checked buildings were only those in the marker area. I suppose if a unit is ordered to move to a building pos already occupied, it will keep trying and in the surrounding buildingpos so maybe it is not a big problem.

Thanks man. A doubt: they are not ordered to completeley fill the building, isn't it? So, in order to keep units in a building (let's say the hospital), I should use lot's of groups of three man instead of few groups of eight. Am I right?

Hello, I have a question about the fortify option. Iv'e seen fortify units check for buildings in a certain área independent on the marker. So, I want to use UPSMon to defend one single building in a city. How this can be done?

Just another idea: Close to the enemies, in a good position, create a inf unit, leader of the heli, deleteweapons, setcaptive, allowdamage false, and, most important, hideobject. Dirty trick, but will order the heli to attack the inf, the player won't notice him (unless is very close, because he will hear the unit giving orders). -

Beautiful. Just a suggestion. I never tried this but could worth it, and make this script the best arty script around the scene... Arty is useful when you fire to a bunch of enemies, not a single one. The find target script just picks the first alive ground unit in the array... So, each round prolly will target the same guy if it is still alive? Idea: create, via scripting a minitrigger that checks if there are more than x units around the targeted unit in certain radius (let's say 30 meters). If so, then YES, that's the target. Never made it, but could be woth a try. -

As the move waypoint is reached, if the chopper has conditions to proceed to the next wp, it will stop, and hover. The trick could be: place some move wp in 300 mts radius from transport unload wp, and use a cycle wp, just as in some other patrol, but break the cycle wp with a switch trigger for the RTB wp. Check the wiki about waypoints and the cycle waypoint. http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Mission_Editor:_Waypoints#Sentry Should do the trick. -
