chris ma friend i dont get offended by some jerk atempt to offend my citizen. what i dont like to see here is a dam vendetta against portugal just cause we won england. because u have to agree that if we won any other team (majority here is england suporter) they wouldnt point the portuguese divings zilion of times. i'm so stupid/unfair/blind/unilateral vision that i admited other zilion of times, that ronaldo is a stupid skilled player. he tryed to fool the refered instead of trying to score. that's something i dont really want in my team.
i didnt noticed placebo coment on miguel "fault" before...my friend if u dared to say the he claimed a fault, ur not being logical and u know it. the poor guy was a true hero trough the wc matches, and what happen is basicly a fatigue injury. he runs like he's running from devil all the matches, we dribled 3 or 4 french guys, and his knee couldnt resist the bad landing. paulet wasnt looking to him by that time so he claimed foul. its normal i guess, and nobody should call him actor for that i think. the game proceed normally, without any consequence for that. btw miguel had a partial rupture of lateral ligament. i know how it hurts and upsetting it is (i had 2 ruptures of crossed ligament on both knees, while riding motocross).
so like u said very well, i'm here for the fun, not because i like flamewars. i was and will be here for giving my opinions on everyones matches (the ones i saw/see). attacking a nation or even someone is not my style. i'm interested in soccer, and i consider myself a big fan of ALL good teams. so lets proceed peacfully (if possible) on the healty critics, instead of 4th grade coments.
so my predict is...italy beats france, and germany beats portugal...what's yours?

in that particular occasion i agree with u guys. ronaldo didnt jump verticaly (if he wanted to strike that high ball he should had done it), instead he trowhimself to midle of the 2 defenders. yes he was touched, but he promoted that. so the referee did well and let the game proceed.
i disagree with most of opinions about the game and the 2 teams. i had a good time watching this match, it was intense, and the goal tension was there all the 90min. for the 1st time in this wc, we played really well like we did in most euro2004 matches. i saw portugal pressing france to the ropes most of the 1st half. our defenders were top (miguel was a player that i really didnt give credit, but he changed my mind. meira was good even being the blacksheep of the team. he replaced Jorge Andrade(key player) from corunha 1month before wc start. carvalho was carvalho...gold reputation on porto/chelsea. the midefield wasnt bad at all...only deco was absolutely disastrous. i'm sure he's the player with most lost passes in the game. scolari didnt had a better player to replace, so deco became our 1st problem. then pauleta was simply awfull to. scolari should replaced him in 1st half by nuno gomes. postiga is dam faget, at least nuno gomes drags defenders and opens spaces in the area. he's not a dam street lamp like pauleta was...
now about france...france did a match in a mourinho way somehow...mourinho's teams always share the main factor of bullet proof defenders, and 1 or 2 superb back midefielders. the french defenders blocked all passes and individual marks were 100%perfect. then when they had a lose ball on the midefield zidane just holded the ball like he only can, then passed safe to a clear mate. bartez was a disaster on that volleyball movement. we could had scored on that.
the referee was totally invisible to me. that's always good.
didnt see a game with 225 divings like u say.
but i know that u guys love to hate portugal. it's the halo effect.
most the germany match i'm not very confident for many reasons. but who knows...i'll bet some euros for portugal anyway!

congrats france!! after some intense 90min, we couldnt score a dam goal.i can only blame scolari for taking 60min to take out pauleta. i think nuno gomes its much better then postiga, but he's the boss...
about the penalti...no doubt carvalho touched henry (not intencional), and henry just prooved my theory. experience of letting his body fall down when he felt his foot being touched. i want to believe that the referee would call a penalty if the situation was inverse. if ronaldo or figo got touched in the french area, i hope he would give a penalty. but we'll never know.
last night i got really pissed with ronaldo and specially postiga diving all the time. but they had their punishing (not going to the final). about scollari... felt ashamed for his words on the end of the game. he blames the ref for the result. bad loser excuses...at least he's brazilian, so he doesnt speaks for the portuguese plp. nobody i know complains the ref.
so now we'll play against germany on saturday...hope that we had a good game to entertain!
so like i sayd i would be here congratulating france without any heartfeeling. maybe all the england suporters should do the same by the time portugal won them. fair play is something that i apreciate, so here r my 2cents.

about the looping. i dont have joystick so i couldnt so far make such manouver. no idea how to avoid it, or if the real vehicle cant do such thing. so i guess its something beyond my control.ty for testing btw.

hello everyone, its time to release the beta version of the aquilair. until the end of the month i hope i'll get it finished.
so at this moment i have a version with:
-blue cammo
-cd player
-custom engine sound
-spining weels (ty footmunch)
to the final version i need to
-finish intermedium lod's ( so far i made 2 lod's only-max and min lods)
-tune some settings like armor(to high i think) and loading ammo/weapons(forgot that on cfg...)
-do the woodland/desert/snow/stealth cammo versions.
-fix/create features that comunity sugested.
-binarize it (footmunch work) so the mettalic textures can shine
so far Exec[VS] made me 2 maps. they can be found at vetsquad.com server. by the time i release the final version i'll attach them to the link.if u want to listen music while flying in your maps, u need to do this:

i'm satisfied with the aquilair so far. prety decent handling and very realistic (my opinion). try to shut engine down and it will glide like a whale!!

funny that ricardo was the 1st gk in the wc history that defended 3 penalties in penaltie kickout. just for that he deserved to be "player of the match" dont u think so? off course not, i forgot he belongs to the worst team in the tournament...

like i said the only scandal fake dive i saw in the match was done by maniche, and he should get a yellow for that. england player also simulated a penalty and got 1 yellow.
now about figo and he's "dives" i see it on a diferent perspective. some few players in the world have the hability to steal some faults to the oponents (clean and cleverly). i call that experience and being smart. since i remember figo playing for portugal (zidane does a lot of that to) i saw him dribling the ball like few guys can do...
so basicly when figo runs with the ball and an oponent gets in his front, he usually acelerates and deviates the ball to the sides, in the exact moment the oponent tryes to steal the ball. in 50% of this situations the oponent strikes his feet or legs, causing a fault.
like i say, i saw many (top) players doing this, and i usually call it experience,inteligence. maybe he's just an actor and i cant see it, and zidane, deco are from the same company!!
now about c.ronaldo...everyone knows he's a spoiled kid with loads of talent, but that doesnt make him a piece of crap like u painted him...personaly he's not my favourite player, but from what i know u guys from M.U. love him to the point of giving him the so special nr.7 shirt! why giving him such an honourable shirt if he's nothing but a bad actor??
today i read in newspapers that he will have a bad time when he gots to M.U., so they started talking about transfers to real madrid. hope that m.u. leaders/coach dont let that happen, or you gona lose a quality player.
what ronaldo did after rooney agression is more then normal i guess. he shouted to the ref to get that action punished. now plz dont tell me he's the only player that complains to the ref, when a team mate is attacked in front of ref eyes. i didnt saw him trying to hit rooney, but maybe i missed that part in the thrill of the game... for those who said he shouldnt get a red, plz check if u saw the same tv channel i did...
as for france...congrats again "le bleu's", and i'm really sure it will be the hardest match he'll have in wc. france showed why they got the semi's, beating the always awsome brazil. my hope is that scolari make a solid midefield, close marking on henry and zizou, and pray for god being portuguses again.

, but for what i could watch in 5min, it was a clean and fair victory. so for those who called zidane a pensionist... sad i cant play against our brazilian brothers, but the "tricoleurs" are nice to. -
i'm now watching live in tv,the few portuguese fans around the stadium runing away in panic, with british hooligans scums trowing rocks on their heads. blood is being spilt just because they couldnt resist to cause caos in every stadium they step...before u say "just because some jerks do that, it doesnt mean english suporters are all the same!". its true, but why this always happen with the same fans!!? i also know germany,dutch and poland suporters like to cause caos sometimes, but england fans are always on the top of the black list...
on the other hand,its sad that some of u guys have a natural tendency to mix soccer with politics, history, wars,etc. we'r talking about wc here, so if u cant keep the conversation on the topic, plz go post somewhere else! glad admins werent sleeping or this thread would be spoiled.

i just love to watch u guys and your terrible sportism. i know that portugal didnt played like they know/can, but like i told deco is a key player and he was off today. he's the brain on the midfield, +figo. about the dirty atitude u guys acused us...no coments. we made a clean game without any violence.

i dont like to play the portuguese targete here, but of course i have to defend my team, specially when they are been called unfair names. i hope that my love for my team, doesnt makes me think stupid or get blind!! but the english reaction in this forum to the holand game is similar to the general uk reaction. i just couldnt believe when i read today that english federation asked fifa to punish figo for his header on the dutch guy. lets not focus in this particular situation (the game had equal or more severe situations). its just the atitute!! i just can find 1 word to describe it...FEAR!! like i told and i'll repeat, i just dont care who wins. if englands beats our ass i'll be the 1st to congratulate. if they lose i'll be the 1st to congrat portugal.
i wouldnt find weird if it was holand asking, but come on!!
i agree portugal havent played what they can/know so far. i was expecting diferent match agains holand, but it almost became that semifinal on euro2000 against france.
so i only expect my players to galvanize themselfes to next saturday. if that happens i hope to see many of u guys changing opinions...we never won anything, so we have the right to really want a cup.but that doesnt makes us cheaters or actors. cant remind many matches that we won for cheating. probably u have dozens, but hey, thats past tense.

well i'm kinda of surprised that we gathered such a united group of "enemys", coming from nations that we (coincidence maybe) beated in the last 6 years. portugal didnt lose against holand since 91 or earlyer, england since euro2000 i guess. i gota disagree about figo coments, since he was the best player in field at least in 2 of 3 matches of group stages.he's playing superb this wc thank god... about ronaldo crying? yes he's a kid and i dont die for love with him. funny that everyone usualy likes portugal style until we start to threat "big" teams reputations...that's very ugly i gota say. i reall try not to be factious in sports. sames goes to my team (boavista) when i discuss soccer with my friends that usually win everything (porto,benfica,sporting). so my comment on yesterday's match mantains. i think all the crap started for the anti fair play showed by holand team when we kick the ball out for player to be assisted (actually was meira no holland player to be assisted, like i said). and u gota be kiding me if u think the most fair result would be a holand win. if u say a draw i could agree with u. can only remember 1 goal chance( shot on the bar by coco). the other chances were normal goal chances wasted by AMATEURS.
so i can understand all the rage sparking over here,from holand to england. that's typical from recent LOSERS.
having that said, i wish best luck to england and portugal. hope portugal wins, (if we lose i'm happy to), and that figo scores at least 1 goal on them. and i hope that we wear the black/dark shirt/shorts equipment, so that the referee can easily identify the divers team!

i gota confess that this was one of the hardest games i saw with my team.last day my prediction was 2-1 for portugal. i wasnt very far, but i could never imagine the game it became...
i have to say that holand REALLY disapointed me in the most basic sense like FAIRPLAY. it all started with the 1milion euros price of "who can knock out cristiano ronaldo?". he got 2 yellow cards from holand left wing,in the first 7minuts of game...the agression he suffered today and that caused him an (unknow so far)injurie isnt for yellow card! so after that beating and some others offered by holand its natural that portuguese nerves start to pop up!
then if u remember the game a holand player went down to the ground and portugal kick the ball out for assistance. then after assistance was done, holand didnt pass the ball to us (most basic fairplay atitude a nation team should have even if losing).
so all the shit that happened after started by a simple lack of fairplay.
congrats to maniche (a medium portuguese player that never stops to surprise me with his instinct shots) and his good goal. same goes to all the team. someone mentioned simao kicking vander sar, but after what holand striker did to ricardo, that was a kind of payback(understandable).
couldnt see england playing, but by your critics it wasnt convincing. 2 years ago i saw the most beautifull soccer match of my life. portugalxengland at euro2004. penalty kick outs with ricard defending beckam shot without gloves, and then he scored himself a penalty kick. shame the dam greeks after tho..
so i really predict another dramatic match between us and england. portugal has 2 players out. costinha isnt a problem because petit will substitute him. now deco isnt replacable, so no idea what scolari will do. and ronaldo status is unknow so far, and that is a big lack to. but they are 22 called players for a reason right? they are all enough good to wear my nation shirt.
so for saturday match i hope to see figo,maniche and probably nuno gomes kicking goals to england net. if we cant win, at least make mourinho's chelsea players score. just would hate to see spice beckam scoring a single goal on us...

so tomorrow is my team big match against holand.the statistic is on our side.in the history of portugalXholand matches we won 4,draw 5 and lost only once. but i dont buy statistics so we really need to give all we have on those 90min (hope we solve the game without ExtraTime). wish me luck and my prediction is 2-1 for portugal on the 90min...
