as you seen the evolution on the pics we know BIS will not release ARMA like that..
They always make intensive evolutions.
every post is even more realistic..
these new pics may not be recent.. they are for us, but for Bis may not be

Imagine how will be future pics from their last update

edit: also think the new and real animations Placebo told were not implemented yet
altough we see soldier digitalized that may not be "the" animations he told. 
what i mean is animations in the term of movement, positions, simple movements we havn't seen yet. Their 1st Video might reveal some nasty stuff

sorry to go back again on this..
but if you open ofp and do alt tab you will see the 1st image brighter as it is, ie, you will see the brighter image (edited).
This happens to me when i take a pic the pic is always darker then in the game. Maybe thats why we have that pic.
try to open OFP and do alt tab and look at Bis new pics.. maybe that helps

I believe we all think ArmA is Game 2 or OFP2*.
All point towards that way but BIS already said it wasn't..
they have 1 site for each name..
.. have they change their mind?

now where can we find an Island in the Atlantic were those languages are spoken?By the way i live in Faial island in Azores, 2 islands away from Terceira Island, where LAJES BASE is located.
Here thers many languages being spoken, turists, sailors from the whole world stop in Peters Café Sport in my island. Thers some history about ww2 naval in the Harbor, also the PAN America planes used to stop to refuel.
Matra by the way that foto u posted its not on Terceira its on Faial, in the city (Horta City).
I live in the red marker area :P

Açores island (base das Lajes) is an air platform for europe.. its and important place but i don't beleave they will use it for ArmA.

How this graphics and 60 players, plus AIs, on MP should work, is beyond on my beliefs.

I lost imagination for game 2 when i saw New Arma pics..

Water and models look very good, but the trees look a little strange. I hope that's the next thing we see improved.I agree, the trees need to be changed somehow to "fith" the new layouts and details.
Imagine the trees moving, dancing with the wind (like in OFP elit, but much better)

(what if other vehicle comes in diff direction?, will they do the zig zag boring thing?)
It looks like they are parked to me and that nobody is in them but I could be mistaken.
Besides that is the least of my worries.
well i think the most important thing we were looking for was the AI's Behaviour. (improved)

Looks like the vegetation in general haven't any shadow, even in the screenshot of the tanks, where the tree has his own shadow, the bush below it haven't got it, what do you think about that?, could be very nice and reallistic that the bushes also have their own shadows.
yup.. maybe they want to add dynamic trees and how they can be destroyed. (like the uprooting trees)

By the look of that city i only think war is eminent...
training milita.. military movement.. choppers in the air..
all looks clear and ready for something..
as i said this city looks very organized/civilized and advanced in a way.. i think we can expect much from this island

I would like to see in ARMA an Option of Wind (stronger <---> lower) like we have those other options about weather (in that tool bar)...
If dynamic trees appear in ARMA it will turn enviroment more realistic then it is.
I once saw in a movie about OFP Elite XBOX, and the trees moved with the wind, also the bushes.

If too much wind it would affect the bullet direction, smoke, fire, waves, clowds etc.. depending on the strenght of the wind.
I dont mind to wait 3 or 4 more month(s) if BIS could implement this in that time.
