  1. Its just a circle of light, never varies and at night it messes with the HDR crap like Hell, makes me completely blind and it covers more screen then the muzzle flash should.

Do what Dragon Rising did, they had great muzzle flashes and they werent obnoxious like the ones in Arma 2 and supposedly OA.

    This:

Small details like this one mentioned, are destroying the fun and potential or ARMA2.

  2. I for one think the Adjustable Nightvision and the Adjustable bright light on eyes Should be options, as an AddOn or as an optional setting!

These two features, in my opinion, as default destroy completely the pleasure i have in this game.

I understand BI tried to simulate it as in real life but, In My Opinion, it is too exaggerated, sensitive and destroys a lot of fun for me. I would prefer to have it simple like in OFP or have an option for it with a sensitive scale if possible.

  3. hum..

I for one think the voice sounds still need to be improved.

The extensive "ogg" chats are nice but the normal, fast and common communications when detecting enemies or reporting units do not sound natural. As if they are throwing up words..without natural space between words and that is taking out a lot of immersion and realistic feeling.

Though I believe with time this will be the "ARMAII never dies".

    Keep it up BI! :)

  4. I would like to see the engine as optimized as possible so i could run it smoothly on my old system. (P4 @ 3Ghz, 2G ram ddr 400, Sapphire Ati 1950pro 512mb)

I know, i know.. crappy system for this awesome game, but is impossible to acquire a new system. Thats why i would like to be able to play it good in mine. Its all i ask atm.

  5. "Unfortunately" when people finish the degrees they and up losing those rights and privileges, right?

R was another tool I didn't learn or develop while I was there as student, i had more theoretic lessons while i was there.

I will download it and get used to it since its free software.

Not aware about the company demands/requests/needs.. i had no idea these tools would be so useful and demanding on interviews, along with previous professional experiences.

Thank you for your recommendations Daddl, more will be well appreciated :)

I would love to find and get a research job where i could work with the program and being given time to learn it.

About programing I have had some knowledges of C language in University though i not an expert, just know the basics.

I'm eager to learn, develop my knowledge and experience on a job but those opportunities are quite rare at the present day, and without a previous experience makes it difficult too.. maybe it is due to the economic crisis but the fact is there are more unemployed people with Degrees each year.

  6. Universities (at least good ones) don't teach specific software because it can go out of date so easily. What matters is the skills you acquire which can then allow you to pick up the stuff you actually have to deal with.

I understand you perfectly, although when people finish their degrees no company wants them (At the present moment, due to global economic crisis) without specific professional experience in the area. I find myself in this position.

Thats why i would like to learn some SAS basics, so it can be an extra point towards an opportunity I get.

Does anyone know any good and useful Tutorials?

  7. More and more Companies are requiring the knowledge of statistical and useful tools, such as SAS Software, though this tool can Not be learned in Universities, at least on mine, unfortunately. So I did NOT have the opportunity to learn it, they say the tool is too expensive to have, so they do not prepare students for the future market.

Instead i learned SPSS but the market is requiring more and more SAS knowledge.

Taking special and individual curses of SAS is completely out of mind because they are too damn expensive for a simple mortal.

Does anyone know a good place in internet where i can learn SAS software?

    Thank you in advance.

ps- Did anyone in here also had a similar situation? :(

  8. Its not new Bravo. We knew this for months already. Its in one of the first videos about OA on youtube. A hungarian guy working at BIS is saying this in the video.

Yes, i know the video is not new. At the time it was released i saw it without any subs :)

So to me is entirely new, but thanks for the headsup.

By the way, congrats to your new moderating function :)

  9. The original sounds compared to OFP ones, OFP sounds are better!

edit: this was already discussed in the pass in a more complex thread with few suggestions and so far nothing was made/mentioned (significantly) to improve it.
