while using the M249 SAW i ear a sound that i believe it needs to be fixed because its as if the sound in the end have a peak in the volume. Please delete that extra peak that destroys the immersion of the game sound. Keep it up the good work! ;)

I don't like the fact that i have to use an .exe file to install this mod. I'am against these kinda installations, i prefer to do it. Can we have a .rar or .7zip file as an alternative please?

Mouse Lag 2 - Return of the Mouse Lag
bravo 6 replied to datter's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
I really notice a mouse lag while i am in editor building missions. While moving around the map, placing units i notice a different speed (slow) in editor. For those who have this significant speed change and build missions is bad and annoying. -
In my opinion the original ArmA2 sounds are very weak! they transmit no realistic immersion. Even OFP and even ArmA1 sounds were better. Please BIS improve this important effect.

I can't even install the driver, or a more recent driver then "9-3_1_legacy_xp32-64_dd_ccc.exe". My Windows is XP SP3 X86. I don't understand why i can not install any recent driver. While installation i get this error that refuses to continue the instalation. Error message: "The installation program does not find a compatible driver with your hardware or actual operational system." Any ideas why this happens and is there a solution for this problem? PS- I would like to use a more recent driver (im using a 9-3_1_legacy_xp32-64_dd_ccc.exe at the moment) EDIT: Does this new driver support my ATI X1950pro 512mb?

Windows 7 cut frames by 50% and introduced microstuttering
bravo 6 replied to OUT FOX EM's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Maybe people should compare WinXP and Win7 instead. -
This is my old system: P4@3.0Ghz, 2Gb ddr400, ATI X1950pro 512mb I played ArmA2 version 1.03 with WinXP Pro 32bit and with Win7 Ultimate x86. To be honest i feel i have better performance while using WinXP then with Win7. Maybe its a matter of GPU drivers optimization because i had to install different ones. The truth is that i have a bit more fluid game when using WinXP.

I just tried ArmA2 version 1.03 with WinXP Pro x32 and with Win7 Ultimate x86. My system is P4@3Ghz, 2Gb ddr400, ATI X1950pro 512mb. I feel i have better performance with WinXP pro then with Win7 Ultimate. It looks smoother in WinXP. I have not tested the patch 1.02 ever, i just jumped from 1.01 to 1.03. I believe Win7 is a little bit heavier then WinXP Pro. I might roll back to WinXP because in my old system I have a bit smoother game then in Win7. Too bad because i really liked Win7 features and options. Maybe when i get my new system ill use Win7 x64. Edit: I don't know but it might have to do with the drivers, because i had to install different ones, ie, to Win7 instead WinXP. Maybe they were not optimized yet..

Anyone experienceing strange movement bug?
bravo 6 replied to Fintroll's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Its something BIS needs to fix for sure in the next patch, because flying those things completely destroys the fun. I have no pleasure piloting the F-35, though the harrier is a very good peace of equipment, also the A-10. -

Anyone experienceing strange movement bug?
bravo 6 replied to Fintroll's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
What I notice is a strange movement in the F-35 B pedals after few seconds in the air or after using the pedals once. As if the plane automatically uses the pedals to correct something but what it does is bouncing from left to right and so on.. :\ Ah and version is 1.03. -
I noticed the same thing. Also the bug i referred some pages back is still present! Its pissing me off!

ArmA 2 Buglist - Content related bugs only
bravo 6 replied to Red_153D's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
A smart moderator Someone moved my created thread showing some of BIS original building models and didn't post the existing images showing exact bugs (ShadowLOD Bugs (some original models)). Now my post is meaning less. -
ArmA 2 Buglist - Content related bugs only
bravo 6 replied to Red_153D's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Patch 1.03 has been released and the exact same model bugs still persist. The model shadow does not affect own player body (arms and weapon) while in 1st person view.
