Joint Operations version 1.6 (yeah it's a generic title, deal with it) COOP 57 Players Be a part of a Stryker Combat Platoon in the attack on Masbete. Your objectives are to take the town, and also to find and kill the enemy Battalion Commander. Optionally, rescue the leader of the local resistance in order to gain their support in your main attack. Do the mission your way-- great for large public servers, or as training for realism units. Features: No Addons needed. 57 Player capable. Base respawns. Timed vehicle respawn (long wait). Toys: Strykers, HMMWVs, trucks, Transport helis, boats. Adjustable start times/weather conditions. Adjustable friendly/enemy AI levels. Pilot restrictions. Download ME Mirrors: Thanks Armaholic! Obligatory goofy pictures Arma has HMMWVs! Somebody rescue this dude seriously! Commie Commander, you so dreamy... Buhdabuhdabuhdabuhdabuhda Disclaimer: This is my first mission, please provide me with feedback and let me know of any recommended changes or problems! Tested on a dedicated server. Thanks!!

Anyone know how to add a timer between shots with this artillery script? I don't need anything fancy- is it a delay within the script or something else? For some reason I can't figure it out.

I think maybe your problem is the fire command-- I was messing around and got it to work using: Enemy01 fire ["GP25muzzle" ] let me know if it worked for ya'll or if its just a fluke

the bragg CA guys shoudl probably start to wear the 95th CA brigade patch. http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/CivilAf....ade.htm The active-duty CA element just tripled in size and is no longer just former SF guys- but before the transition I seem to remember some of their command staff wearing USASOC. As for lieutenants in SOF, it's hard to do but it happens. Last I heard they were gonna make it easier to let them in- sometimes they're not necessarily psyop or CA guys but maybe intel or medical or cross-listed. It's not rocket science to figure out that they're hard up and will take what they can get -
I got this through sprocket too. It made the last 20% take as long as the first 80% but eventually you should get the whole file. My download restarted probably 50 times like this, but it still worked once it finished just be patient or use the sprocket direct download option.

Ok downloaded the game (came with no cd key??????

check the other posts about sprocket/softwrap contact softwrap tech support and you'll get your cd key. -
Knocking down my AA in-game settings seems to help with the textures somewhat.

Happens to me too with: XP 7900GS (newest drivers) It does seem to happen more after I've been playing for a while, but also I've noticed that for me it occurs solely in multiplayer. I can have thousands of units running around downtown paraiso with no problems in SP, but walking through an empty desert in MP my textures would vanish.
-
I get these with XP pro and a 7900GS. They are happening more often since 1.05. ALT-tabbing and programs running in background seem to make it happen more often.
-
ditto. I'd recommend anyone else interested to hold off til the sprocket folks get un-fudged.
-
Well I'm in the process of downloading it, so if there's some issue with it I'll be back in an hour and a half to complain for ya'll

Sweet job bro. Bout time these guys got some representation in Arma. If you want to know more about the role of these special ops guys in modern warfare check the link. The PSYOP guys and their Civil Affairs brothers play an important role in the global war on terror. USACAPOC Wiki -
I also recommend this card- excellent card for the $$ I got mine around $150 3 months ago after some rebate. Overclocks like a dream. Has anyone tried theirs in SLI?

I've noticed an issue- in crowded city firefights (custom designed) sometimes the soldiers overlap onto each other- this is ugly but acceptable. The problem here is when/if a soldier runs into a civilian they practically become untargetable by the opposite side. Whether 'melded' into the civilian while standing, or else stuck together with one prone and the other straddling (yes, an odd sight) the combative seems to become invisible to the AI. I was observing a crowded street fight as a civilian and saw this to a great extent- a russian rifleman was prone and a civilian walked up to him and they seemed to get stuck together. The americans came through the village, killing off the other commies, but when they got to the prone guy they ignored him. A whole squad sat there 5m from the russian/civilian as he shot them one-by-one. I don't know if this is an AI issue, or a graphical one? I'm guessing the presence of the civilian kept the US troops from shooting the russian? I'll try to repeat this myself. I would've thought that in the worst case the US may have tried grenades/AT weapons on the guy- as they seem to not care about the explosive effects of those weapons on nearby civilians? Oh and about high-ground. If you've ever run up a hill/mountain in full battle gear you'll realize that elevation still has SOME value in modern combat

1394 score 4yr old PC but it held up aight I spose. P4 2.2 Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb oc'd to 300/300ish (I think) 768rdram (yeah.. stfu..) The airfield textures didn't even load until right near the end of that test- looked pretty bad.

This one is pretty easily repeatable, and great fun. 1. In the editor go to the tallest mountain you can find with the smoothest/sharpest slope. 2. Edit yourself into one of the little boats, and aim it down the mountain. 3. Start up the mission and enjoy the ride. If you're lucky you might pull off a few flips/spins-- you can try other vehicles as well, but the whole idea of boating down a mountain is what's fun for me.
