thank you! i actually went there yesterday, but the site was down. if you go to the site, it reads: May 4, 2002 **Reopened. Sorry for the inconvenience.** thanks for making me visit that site again. i'm still amazed at how it was so difficult finding this sound pack. these websites should really offer links to this site, making it clear the sound pack can be found there.
-
come on, help a guy out. i've honestly been searching for this sound pack since yesterday. it's gotta be somewhere right? i mean, one of the stickies is referring to the fix! please tell me where i can find it. thanks.
-
someone must know. can you at least tell me how it compares to Wright's sound pack. i was able to find his (it's very good), but everyone seems to praise Satchel's (which is ironically very hard to find). i really want some good M16 sounds as the default sound really sucks.
-
i'm talking about Satchel's Dynamic Range sound pack. i can't find it anywhere. i've searched the forums and the Internet, finding only links that no longer work. where can i find it?

actually the fogging seems to pop up instantly. i walk a step, the BMP shows up. take a step back, it vanishes entirely! and i'm talking about the smallest of steps. i use binoculars to see. try it at the Malden airport. that's where i'm doing all my tests. and RalphWiggum, those commands would only add one type of ammo to the crate. what i want to do is to have both RPG and LAW in a single crate. how do i do this? i'm guessing now that it's not done through the Init field.
-
each grid on the map is 128m? i created a mission for target practice and objects five grids away become impossible to see due to fogging. by my calculations, that is only about 640m, probably seeing only as far as 600m. anyway, i'm getting the hang of it. i can hit them from what i guess is 600m, otherwise, as i said, the fog gets them. the key seems to be small adjustments in elevation. i don't even think i went to the next horizontal line. oh, and how do you add multiple weapons/magazines to a single ammo crate? is there another way besides typing commands into the Initialization section? i've tried several combinations with errors each time. here's some combo's i've tried to give you an idea of what i'm trying to do: ammo1 AddWeaponCargo ["LAWLauncher",20] AddMagazineCargo ["LAWLauncher",20] ammo1 AddWeaponCargo ["LAWLauncher",20] ["RPGLauncher",20] i've been flipping through the editting websites, but can't find this simple command. very grateful if someone types out what i'm trying to do. thanks.

thanks for all the advice. i'll definitely try what you suggested RalphWiggum. but does anyone know what distance each horizontal line on the LAW/RPG scope represent? is each 200m as suggested by FetishFool?

i searched before posting. anyway, i searched again and still no help. i even ran a search of your member name, and only one thread popped up. maybe something's wrong with the search engine?

i've been playing OFP for a while now, but i still have trouble shooting the LAW and RPG. too many times i'll miss at long ranges. the only times i will definitely score a hit is when the target takes up a good chunk of the center of the screen, where you need no elevation for the effects of gravity. do you guys fire at long distances? or do you also wait till they get close? it would really help if someone could tell me what distance each tick mark on these weapons indicate. i've been searching for these values without result. is there a site that explains how to shoot the LAW/RPG effectively? perhaps with some pictures indicating how much elevation should be used when the target is a specific distance away? thanks for any help.
