  1. the pic that Clav used is standard rappeling and is not commonly used as much. if you want fast roping, use two ropes on each cargo bay door (use only one for arma because BIS decided to use the uh60 with seats and only one open cargo bay door). hopefully, a new BH will be made with the seats ripped out and both cargo doors are open (like BAS BH's). so, use only one rope for now where the door opens. thumbs-up.gif

  2. ok, if your intention is to make fast roping possible in the game, you don't need to worry about how it looks when the aircraft is moving. you should only concentrate on the physics of it falling down while the chooper is in a hover and when it is released after the teams insert. the only reason you should worry about how it looks with the aircraft moving is if you include script for conducting SPIES (where the team is extracted while attached to the rope).

    the vid looks great and i hope to see your work get completerd.

    Yea, ive been away for a while. I joined the Army.........I broke and dislocated my shoulder in Airborne school, and they got me working an executive officer position in the mean time........long story short, im available to play OFP/ARMA again  biggrin_o.gif

    I jus hope ya got some of those updated verions of the M-60, they were always sweet. yay.gif

    I hope the pack doesnt require the latest patch........that 1.08 seems not to like my computer confused_o.gif

    dude, as a combat paratrooper i must inform you that you must go back!!! you do not want the failure of jump school to be a part of your career. it will haunt you and you need to recover quickly, and return to jump school as fast as you can.


  4. would like for some of the camo artists to link their desert and woodland camo textures here. i just would like to see some of the guys work out there and hopefully add them to some of the weapons in the game.

    my skills are not that great and my time is a bit constrained, so if any you guys out there is willing to share your work (for only personal use), please post. welcome.gif


  5. the script is cool and i wish that we could port BAS blackhawks to arma because they have BH's without seats. the sniping from the heli is realistic, but it is not just for shooting. the sniper can also relay intel from the outside and on an elevated platform to keep the entry team up to speed on what is going outside, and what could be in certain rooms that have windows. great work!

    dude, you should not have to keep "tweaking" your addon to suit other people. you have provided different versions of the addon and some people will never be pleased. i'm totally cool with the near version because it brought a "cool" perspective to the game and all i did was thank you for it.

    you got some talent and i would rather see you move on to other things to enhance the game. your mod is fine and does the job, so people just need to leave you alone and take the mod for what it provides.


  7. I built a mission with a small town in the first version but had to move it when I imported it to the new island.

    Anyway, the town could use a more irregular and asymmetrical look to it, like this:

    i see a great idea here with this pic and a city of ruins could make for some good infantry battles. we need the tools in order for the guy to make a complete island, but i like this guys idea of adding these ruined buildings and i think it would be cool if it would be included within an update. the buildings just need to be properly spaced and more buildings may need to be added.
