Maybe I'll add 1 or 2 new pouches and use them in combination with the default BI ones... Some different versions of the new vest: Great job! However, you need to add the airborne tab over the 101st patch on the green baseball cap. Also, any possible way you could make that cap tan? I think it would look better with that color.

Well then, all you need to do is get me an unbinarized .p3d from Johnny’s west model and his permission to use it. Send it to me and I will start updating my models immediately  Only wishful thinking, brother. I'm pretty sure that if you could change the armor, you would have done it a while ago.

Man, I really wish you could use the body armor that are on Jonny's SF units, or something similiar. Your units look great, but I really think that you need to ditch the default BIS IBA's, despite you making them look better with extra pouches, and using something more modern.

I would recommend making the helmet smaller and a bit compact. I think it really has potential.

Very nice work, but we do need to be able to load at least 6-7 troops, and I think that a couple of guys in the middle (maybe crouched) would help. Other than that, good job

Thanks

Can we get a screenshot of all of the weapons? I look in this and the other thread, but I have not seen any pics of your work, could we get a screenshot, please?

Any chance of having some units with some tactical gear?

I sent you a PM, mate.

@NZXSHADOWS, Nice pic of the SFC in class A's, but he must be one hell of a fast tracker, because he has barely any ribbons, lol

Thanks for all the replies. I know that it is eye candy, but empty holsters just do not sit well in this addon. If it caused issues for Jonny, I can understand his decision, no argument there. I'm just saying that not having pistols in the holsters does take a little away from his pretty much spot on addon.

I'm a bit confused about one thing and that is if it is a ARMA limitation for not having pistols in the holsters? I think the models could use them, so is it possible to have them added?

lol that will be not so a dry spot on next update. its a lake. its the only real sattelite problem i had to fix:) But i might turn it into rocks for the reason to build stuff for ppl. No sweat:) Anyway, snow wont hurt mate, its just a texture I know, but we have to factor in global warming

I found a dry spot and made a quickie outpost: This is an example of what I meant about dry spots.

I suggest you have a good look at the map. Its pretty much a 3/4, 1 and 2 will look out of place! Reminds me of the Old Falklands South Georgia, but in much much better quality and atmosphere. Well done.. Well, I thought he said he was going to make some changes to the map and I just made several suggestions. @Spirit, I would highly suggest that you have a area where you could place an airfield and a large base. The island is huge, but you do not have enough flatland areas to be able to place tactical objects to be able to move and station troops. I absolutely love the map, but some flat areas (valleys) are very much needed. Also, how about more dry areas and leave the snow for the higher altitude mountains?

I like the island and here is some of my suggestions for possible objects. The general idea is that the island is controlled by a nation that is going through a civil war, and the US is supporting the government forces: 1. I would add 5-6 large size towns/cities that are spread out across the map. Have a couple of towns (near the mountains) in ruins, due to the heavy fighting between the rebels and government forces. 2. I would add one large military base that is ran by the government forces and where the US has setup operations. 3. The rebel forces could have small bases in the mountain regions, which is where the government forces have pushed them back to. 4. With the new SF units by Jonny, you could create some AOB's (advanced operating bases) near the mountain areas, so that mission makers could easily place their SOF units at those bases. It is just a couple of ideas to thow at you, because I see many maps being created that just seems to have no real setting to them. It would be nice to get a map that is released with preset military bases, ruined cities, and airfields, where the player just adds the units to create the combat scenarios. Nice work

glad that you like the addon. I have seen lot of pictures of members of army oda's running around in tan gear. especially in eagle ciras body armor as it seems like this their current standart issue. However it seems to be true that 75th ranger is really only using green gear apart from their acu's. Anyway the units that i have done are meant to represent sf's/green berets so i am quite certain that i used the correct gear. (1,2,3) oh and i kind of like pcu's. i even did a pcu texture for the special forces a while back but it seems that it just didnt make its way into the final release version. Dude, you nailed it. People need to understand that the units in special operations wear what you created. It does not matter if it is Seals, Army SF, or Delta, they all have worn their gear in that way at one time or another.

For all you guys asking for Jonny to finish his Force Recon marines, all you have to do is swap out parts of the nomex textures unto the textures in this pack. I have already added some nomex troops to my middle east teams (I broke down the woodland, desert, and acu troops into different task forces for use in various environments). It is not hard to do and very simple, no need to burden the guy with all these requests. He has done a fantastic job with these units and if you want MARSOC troops (no longer Force Recon), just swap out the textures and change the name in the config (because they wear pretty much the same stuff). Thanks again, Jonny!

Let's C ya Hilarious! Great job, bro. This will go well with my SOF units in VBS2
