I say mix and match. Give some models a beretta, others a glock or 1911. I would also recommend having a model have one on their chest rig and not on their thigh. It would add more variety within your units and give them more individuality. Keep up the great work! ---------- Post added at 03:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 PM ---------- One last thing, if you plan on using helmets for a couple of models (which I hope), please use the helmets that are used in Ard's TF86 Seals. They are the most accurate looking helmets out there and I think if you ask him for permission, they will be perfect for your addon. I just hope you give the helmet to a model that does not have a mask.

Units are looking great, but I with a couple of other guys with having a weapon in the holster. It just does not look right on the model and I have seen it in several addons and it only takes away from it. If you don't want it on the leg, how about the chest rig or just turn the holster into a med pack or ammo carrier?

Yep, I tried the same thing, but it is still a fun break from realistic ops in the editor. I just could not stop laughing at the sheer power in that minigun as I laid waste to an assload of AI until one of them was able to hit me in the hit with a well placed 7.62 round:p -

The skins were not good, but that minigun had me laughing my ass off while i shreeded a number of infantry and motorized infantry units. -
Damn, looks like some Book of Eli type of units, got a Denzel Washington model. Lol, the units look awesome, downloading now. A vehicle pack and some government units would be great alongside these units to help create a post apocalyptic world.

Damn. I just found about this addon. It looks brillant and looking forward to the release. The Rangers look very accurate and will go perfectly with Ard's Seals for some joint missions. -

I think what Pre-vet is saying is that if it would be possible that he could release a version where some of the PMC's are not wearing masks. The units are awesome and it would be cool to have an update where you have some who are not wearing the masks to go along with the ones that do wear them. -

My mistake for not catching that in your first post. My "requests" are merely suggestions for possibly improving your work, nothing more. Pity that you would find my post as trying to "make them fit my needs" because that is not the case. It is your time and energy that goes into the addon and you come on here to spread your work. You make this thread and we provide feedback on your addon and that is exactly what I did. You already explained the bugs and that it was a early build, so why do you feel the need to drop exclamation points when addressing me about what I wrote? You claim that you are not trying to be rude, but your writing says different. Oh well, good luck with your addon and I'll make sure to not make suggestions on your work. Hate for you to interept my writing as it being a "request". -

@pre-vet, What unit is that in your avatar? Also, I'm just like you needing some units with civilian attire mixed in with tactical gear much like the units in COD:MW2 in that Favela mission. Would be great to have them in ARMA 2. -

I think your units would be better suited wearing blue jeans and khaki or od green cargo pants. SF do wear civilian attire for certain ops and since there are no such units in ARMA like that, you could fill that gap. Your units are very similiar to patrol units in the TF 86 seal addon and the Tier One operators, so I would suggest making them wear civilian clothes with tactical gear and you could use these units in all types of missions and different enviroments. Another nice touch would be to have several models with unbloused boots, some with headgear and others without. I'm aware about the mercenaries addon, but I think your units could be different from those in that addon. -

I think that Raison is missing one important fact and that is that RH has multiple variants of his weapons. He has some that has IR lasers on it and some that do not. Pick the one that you want to use and have fun with it. -

I think it would be fine, but we are both entitled to our opinions. I enjoy his work as is and if he decides to leave it that way, so be it. I'm just saying that it would be nice that he has at least one variation of his rifles be tricked out. -

Why not? It provides better eye candy and more variety with his weapons. Who wouldn't want a M4 with a AFG grip, a peq-5, and a tac light? All I'm saying is that most of weapons needs attachments much like he did with mk-18 weapon pack. Yes, it would be awesome to have the functionality, but there is nothing wrong with having a version with extra attachments. Does not really matter. I love his work and it is RH's time and energy that go into project. All I can do is request, nothing more. -

Any chance for an update to the DCU and woodland camo? The DCU camo just does not look like the camo we use to wear and the woodland just appears off a bit.

Great work! The only thing that I would strongly suggest changing would be taking away the ranger scrolls and airborne/ranger tabs (they don't wear airborne tabs over their scroll, only the ranger tab would go above the unit patch which is on the left arm). Rangers usually don't wear any unit identification while operational, so to be accurate, you should take off the scrolls and airborne/ranger tabs, but leave the IR flag and custom patch (which I can't clearly see). Just my .02 cents.

Really dig your weps and they are perfect for outfitting my special operations units with various weps. My only question/request is if there is a chance that you will give the weps more attachments like taclights, IR lasers, etc. because they seem a bit bare at the moment. -

There are SF operators that dress up in afghan garb to perform certain missions just like other SOF units. "Tier 1" is based on the specific mission that specific special operations units carry out and that is why some units are labled as such. SF is unique in the fact that they can perform in both a unclassified role supporting conventional forces and in a classified role much like the "tier 1" units. -

I can assure you that SOF operators wear pretty much the same stuff. People have no idea specifically what unit certain operators are with in theater and it is like that for a reason. There are some things that stick out, but for the most part, you won't know if they are SF, Seals, or Delta unless you are with them. -

Definitely leave them flagless and leave it up to players to add them themselves. I would go with adding multicam and tan camo, but not ACU. I already like the mix you have so far, but I would like to see your tan and od green tops replace those dcu tops and maybe add some merril boots. Just be sure to make the camo a bit more faded and worn.
