I am creating a wish list for ArmA. Please.. if you have anything to add, or tell me about anything what I am gonna put, please post them. Someone please sticky this. More realistis dogfighting. Sidewinders and the russian missile are effective for up to 18 miles and more. I the game, it is effective to only a few thousand meters. Also, a jet usually does not survive a missile. However, I have seen jets and other aircrafts (including the littlebird) survive 2 missiles, and several times, 3. Please, reduce the number of missiles needed to take out a plane. The most should be 2, while usually it should be just 1. Also, handheld SAMs are too accurate, while AA missiles from planes are way too inaccurate. Countermeasures should be put in too. I also want too see more realistic planes, such as afterburners on Su-34's, missile lock-on times, better manuverability, abilty to control your speed, realistic lock on boxes, not the white boxes, realistic fuel loss on planes (no self sealing fuel tanks can take a missile or high calibered weapon!!, realistic engine loss on planes, etc. Thanks!!!

yeah.. it was almost impossible. I was trying to imitate the part where the f-35b is hovering beside the bridge while trying to take out the semi and crashing in the end. Since there is no f-35b, (which I really want) I had to use a harrier. Does anybody know a good air to air combat simulation games?

Hey guys. I have been trying to practice with the a-10 for some time now. However, the a-10 feels very uneasy still. The guns are definately inaccurate, and the pane is very shaky. Any tips for me? Oh and is the accuracy the true accuracy of the gun?

Well, maybe the gun is accurate, but it seems very weak. It takes a full 1 sec burst to actually kill a tank. In RL, it takes around 6~12.

This is kinda off topic now. I originally said that the gau-8 only needs to be more accraute, and nothing much else. The flight modeling is rather fine.

Yeah..... right now, the harrier has a better tank killing ability than the a-10. That is messed up. I believe the gun is supposed to be more accurate than this, becuase at 4000 feet, the gun has only 4 meters of spread, while in ARMA, the gun has 30+meters of spread at 3500 feet even when the aircraft is stablized. I think the loss of power is used to simulate the loss of one engine. Someone sticky this please.

* the gau-8 on the a-10 must be fixed. I don't want a 1 or 2 second burst limit. That's becuase I have to repeatively click on the mouse, which can make the aircraft unstable. Also, I want the correct number of rounds being fired. Right now, only 23 rounds actually leave the barrel during a 1 second burst. I also want to see better smoke effects on the gau-8. Also, the gau-8 seems to be weakened right now. The gau-12 eqaulizer on the harrier seems to be more powerful. Currently, the harrier is a better tank buster than the a-10, which is not right.

Guys, I have a huge problem. I have an essay about math to print. Um, I finished it yesterday and was about to type it today when the whole PC got a blackout. Also, my upstair computer does not have a printer, so I can't work there. The problem is, that the essay is due tomorrow. Yeah, I wil type at the local library, but I have a question. What is wrong with my PC now? The moniter is still working, but the motherboard is screwed. The only thing that is alive is the little light at the on button. I want to post a pic of it, but my camera is with my dad right now. Can someone please help me?
