i understand your concerns. remember, we will never know the full extent of what transpired/transpires behind the scenes. after all, BIS is a buisness. they have to make money on their investment. publishers have demands that they must follow... now as far as the patches are concerned... they are not THAT bad. i would say more things are fixed then broken, instead of the opposite that you are suggesting. the way i see it, the game has only been truly out to the masses since this week (1.08 patch that unites us all). i know they don't want to say it, but the way i see things, all the previous releases were essentially 'betas' that were released to all the hardcore fans. i still have hope. i am truly loving 1.08 so far. i'll see you on the battlefield bro. in the meantime, try and have some fun.

definately deserves a big bump. i just did a fresh install of arma, applied the patch and started downloading everything in sight. i'm very glad that i saw this as i would have simply installed everything into the one default add-on folder. i created '@3rdPartyAdd-ons' folder to keep things clean.

ArmA:2ndLife does sound very interesting. lol this could seriously be very good!
