    I´m 27 living in Norway where I study to a bachelors degree in firesafety. Born on the aaland islands meaning that I have finnish passport and swedish culture. Was one year in the finnish coastal hunters to piss people of from the aaland island community but mainly because I have always wanted to do military service as a coastal hunter (I did it voluntary because people born on the aaland islands doesnt need to do their year in the military as the rest of the owners of a finnish passport. One of my best years btw). Didnt stay in the finnish military as I dont speak finnish...   . Here in Norway everyone thinks I´m Swedish because of my language. I´m tired to tell everyone that I´m not and to explain about the little independent archipelago that belong to Finland. So I´m a "tourist" in my own country because of the language problem and I´m not very proud of aaland island, I´m living in norway but everyone thinks I´m a swede... But I´m a proud Nordic citizen Â

    This is a very good addon and its wonderful to fly and look at! Good work! So "Sorbcia" is countermeasures... Good thing to know The only things I noticed when I played your mission are: You can se the shape of the afterburner when the engine is off (I have version 1.96 and use DXDLL1.0). The ai cant land (your mission on everon).

    DXDLL 1.0 (not Geforce MX compatible)

    If someone want better NV-goggles than the grainy BIS I have made a temporary fix that is better (in my opinion..) using the textures from INQ NVgoggles. As the CSC only checks the first 25% of the night_sum.0X.paa I have made my own textures where the first 25% are BIS texture and the rest are INQ-NVgoggle-texture. The result are clear NV-goggles with Kegetys DXDLL effects. There is two stripes across the view with BIS textures but I can live with that, it just looks like some kind of interference and you hardly notice it unless you are looking for them.     Wonderful work! Is it much work to make a DLL file that checksum the inq-NVgoggles instead of BIS? If not can anyone do it?

    My friend and I love choppermissions and the autocenter is really annoying for both of us... But I understand that BIS want to have the 1.96 as final and put all their effort on ofp2. But I hope they will fix it and release 1.97

    crash during certain mission

    Are you using inq nv_goggles? The strela model gets corrupted when you install the nv_goggles and everytime a strela is in the game you get a CTD and an errormessage about some p3d. If you are you can fix that. Just read the thread about llaumas pack with new skies, sea and more...

    I´m a little frustrated so I just had to get this of my chest: Its bad that you , Unsung, doesnt have full access/permission to sebnam-pack. That will "kill" the wonderful sebnam because if I must choose one nam-mod I belive yours will be better... And thats a waste of already nice work. It would be better to see sebnam get a rebirth in your mod... But I know this is offtopic in this thread AND that its not your fault about permission so I stop here. Keep up the good work. I´m really looking forward to your mod.

    I exchanged the strela with the strela-demo model as that one isnt corrupted. But now I get an error-message when the missile hits something, but only the first shot: "Cannot load mipmap data/fired.108.paa". After that error message there is no more problems. The fired.108.paa can be fixed, Im sure. And now I dont have any CTD. Â

    I´m tired of the thought to find and figure out realistic values for the ww2 armour so I made some searches at this forum and at ofpec´s. The answer seems to be UAC, Universal Armour Code. The problem is that I cant find any documentation of it. Can anyone help me?
  14. You can use pbodecryptor_13 BUT then you got a corrupted *.cpp-file. Its not so difficult to fix it but it takes time, too much time... And you need to paste in the #defines with a hex-editor after you made it to *.bin again. So I cant recommend the process. There is a much easier way and much better. Go to ofpec and download the developer version of ECP. There you have functional config.cpp´s. Personally I have used DR config.cpp as base to all my mods (I cant give them to anyone as I use alot of addons and have slaughtered, changed and merged so much so credits and permissions are a hopeless project....). If you need some help PM me and I see what I can do.

    Real war campaign

    I want a campaign like that! But be careful so you dont try too hard... Asking for cigaretts, having a relationship is a bit too much I think. Put your effort into war-scenarios instead. And random events at random time so you never now when something, or what, will happen. It make you more alert and its easier to accept downtime because that way you never now if its going to be a boring long wait or if there will be full war next minute. If you are on watch (guardduty? dont know what its called in english..) then maybe it would be possible to use the skiptime if the player and an ai are taking turns looking for the enemy? So when the ai are responsible for the next 10 minutes you can either help him or rest (skiptime). If you skiptime when its your responsibility and the ai are resting there can be a big surprise when you wake up? Transportation is also downtime. I personally think that its nice to just sit back in a truck or at the door in a chopper watching the landscape. But thats me ;) Best wishes in making this campaign.

    Meet the lod family

    After I made the model just the way I wanted it I mark everything and edit\copy. Then I create another LOD and edit\paste. Then I will have a new LOD that are a copy of that first LOD. Then I start to take away small details and making the model simpler. So when I create next LOD I mark everything in the latest LOD and edit\copy. Create another LOD, edit\paste. So now there is a copy of the last LOD and I start to make that model more simple. The textures will stay during the copy-paste. At my third LOD, depending on the model, I usually start to replace textures so it uses less textures. In the last two LODs I use just one texture.

    Test ecp config

    Changing the aimprecision is really nice and I like the idea of changing the airateoffire. But I dont want to change the machineguns dispersion for the players, just for the AIs. Can I do that with aiDispersionCoefX/Y? If aiDispersionCoefX/Y works the way I´m hoping its possible to change the dispersion for AIs and NOT for players. It will also be possible to make the aiDispersionCoefX (not Y) on machineguns relative high so they will spread their fire. I will try myself but I´d like to hear other peoples experience with this.

    Very good! And I love the grenades! How they spinn in the air and BOUNCE on the ground!! Would be nice thou if somebody could translate the objectives in the campaign. Just a textfile would help. I managed to gather some units and go to see that "Troska-faced" person but after that a CTD.

    Large scale 24/7 mp mission suggestions plz

    You could have a "frontline" mission for those that want quick and easy action (think WWII trenches). Have two sides with fortifications on own side of the "no-mans land". Let the ai and the players try to take fortifications and points in nomans land and if they have established themself let them continue to take the enemy fortifications (which would be VERY difficult to hold). And this would go on on a long frontline coust to coust (maybe a small island ) with both sides trying to take fortifications. So this would be a quick and actionfilled attack and defend mission with fast access to action that would rage on as long as the server is up.

    Yes, alot of rangers and m4´s. But I think that lasers rangers are VERY good and this pack have camo helmets wich I prefer so I´m happy. I have a problem thou... If I see a squad leader in 3d its CTD.

    Cti or rts?

    I just wonder what differenses CTI and RTS have. Is it the same idea but with different authors and scripting? Which one is more demanding on computer? Which one is a greater challenge for the player (strategies)? Which one would be best for just one player? Which one is best for two players? What do YOU like as a player? Rts or Cti and WHY? Its not a poll of peoples opinions and choices, I Â just want to know pros and cons.
