There is a crappy (?) solution to make the NV-goggles better that I made long ago when the DXDLL was released. I use it because I think its the best right now. Its clear NV-textures with 25% of BIS NV-texture left so DXDLL thinks that it is the right textures. That means I have clear NV-goggles but with small fields of grainy texture. But its ok until something better is made.. textures are found here -
I hope you make it ECP... I can offer some help as freelancer, I really want this mod finnished! I`m very busy at school right now but maybe I can release you from some work? I know how to texture and I can use photoshop 7, I also have worked some time with O2. I`m also familiar with .wrp But I will not make any addons! That takes to much time that I dont have. But I can help you with LODs, maybe some textures?

I believe that most people have good ideas, or atleast the ideas are not the problem. The problem many of us have is to complete those ideas. Yes, "stick to it" makes the mission completed sooner or later. But.. In my case its about how to find the inspiration to stick to it when you know that you have alot of "finishing up" of mostly eyecandy and BETATESTING to find all errors... Therefore I only make missions without advanced, if at all, intros/cutscenes/outros. And mostly bigger, more random, scenarios where you and the AI are as free as possible. To "tame" the ofp-ai are frustrating for me....

I dont have the patience to work on a mission so it will be accepted by the "official community". Intros, outros and so on. My friend and I like to play my missions so they are not bad considering gameplay. I would like someone to make a homepage where "trash"-missions can be uploaded. "Trash-missions" = not completed but good anyway... I prefer completed missions with good intros and so on but I dont mind playing a good "half completed" mission at all as long as the "gameplay" is good!

I´m a finnish coastal ranger and this is a picture taken from a friend (Sipilä) from the same group during an exercise in stockholms archipelago. To bad I wasnt on that exerice as it looks like a nice one Three finnish coastal rangers saluting a swedish g-boat.

Thank you placebo! No, the water isnt low as we doesnt have tidal water. The water is shallow The archipelago in Finland and Sweden are tricky to navigate because of the radical changes in depth.

Yeah! Thats a good picture my friend took when the group had some time off during an exercise in stockholm archipelago. Its 3 finnish coastal rangers saluting a swedish g-boat edit: if someone can host the picture I could post it into the military photo´s thread. I didnt take the picture but my friend Sipilä took it. I´m in the same group so maybe its close enough..?

Why not? If you use DXDLL1.0 you cant change the water texture if you want the nice reflective water. If you want INQ-NVgoggles with DXDLL effects here you have a temporary option.

They look really nice Can I ask for an estimate how far from completion (in %) your mod are? No need to give a date as that is impossible to give(?), I´m just curious about the progress.

Autocenter in planes and choppers. Ammo-bug That you can run at full speed without slowing down when tired if you strafe at the same time (maybe needs an explanation.. If you sprint you get tired after a while and you run slower, if you strafe at the same time as you sprint you never slow down). If a radiomessage is playing your orders must wait. I have missed many targets because my AI-gunner get my order too late...

After Montignac I managed to escape from the farm to the evacuation by sneaking bush to bush. But I was a nervwreck after that But I suppose your f***ed if you play the other mission, the one you get if you manage to take Montignac...

@Militiasniper. If you want that tank in desert use Marfys desert textures to that. The textures in both versions (sigmas and marfys) use the same names and format so you just swap them and then you have a lovely desertversion. I guess that you cant use that version officially.... But its roaming around in my private desert mod along with trucks and humwvies (rf_humwvies) using marfys deserttexture. Marfys textures are the best. Dont worry! I will not release them PS. Its very interesting to play 1985 campaign in desert. All default units are desertversion, always clear sky, no forrests (desert versions of the islands) and all the island near the equator -> sun rise at 0600 and night falls 1800 making some mission to night missions that werent meant to be that

Thanks for your answers KeyCat! About the taunting, its good enough to be able to limit the taunting groups by their size because then its possible for me to define how many soldiers that have to be in a group to make them taunt and in that way control that feature A quick thought; what about the taunting feature dependent on if the group feels overmatched or not? -

Very nice!! Some questions though. -Can you define "taunting groups"? I like that feature but only in regular troops, not in special forces etc. -Is it possible to disable the helicopter paradrop and only have them to land when unloading? -When the AI are calling in artillery, is it possible to combine that with CoC-artillery? That would be nice Thank you very much for this script!! -
It must be somekind of mistake from BIS that the autocentering is always on in the latest patches?? Isnt it possible to easily (?? I have no clue about easy in this case...) fix that and release it, also, as 1.96. Nothing is changed except that so it shouldnt be incompatible with "the last official patch" so people that wants this feature can use it but the rest of the community doesnt have to upgrade. I dont know anything about if this is possible or why its not possible but I hope...
