Yup, that's what I'm going to do. Let's wait a day or two and see if anything else to fix comes up. If not, I'll release a config patch. -

As of right now, G36 uses the same JAM mags as M4A1. The thing is that our versions of G36 don't have the burst mode. I haven't really thought about your argument, sounds fair enough for me, maybe it will make it into the next releases (if there will be any...). -

Try to run it with the first version of facetex.pbo. Amazing job just like usually by the way. It's good to see an update for this mod Damn, I know I forgot something...! I forgot to remove reference to the old face pack. In fact requires the new one, but the config entry is invalid. Sorry, the fix is on its way. In the meantime, you can open up config.cpp and replace each occurence of custom_head_textures with custom_head_textures_2 In the meantime: A quickfix for missing nostril and teeth textures. facestex2.pbo <span style='color:red'>UPDATED 14/04/05 15:24</span> Yeah, I know, but that would require a whole bunch of modelspecial variants, so I've decided to accept that small inconsequence instead. Regarding tracers: you can enable built-in custom bn880-based tracers for all weapons -> read OFPL Events readme on how to do it. -
Sounds good. That's pretty much how I made the grass for OFPL Lechistan (and Drago) and it works very well. Can't wait to see all this stuff ingame!

Hey, I'm glad to see you've got it released, but in the next version please make sure to change tags to MEC_ on weapon names as well. I've taken a quick look at the config and I've seen these: OFF_BRDM2KPWT_Mounted, OFF_BRDM2KPWT_Mounted and also some HWK_ tags too. We don't want any addon conflicts going on here.

What is this supposed to be? No inflight movies!?? No cookie for you today, CSJ! Just kidding. Seriously, I always wanted 737 in OFP. If you're going to fine-tune it, I think the engine sound volume inside cockpit is too high and the engines should be little more round in the bottom part, but other than those two minor not-even-bugs, this plane is really great. Thanks for your work!

Couldn't say it better. Additionally, you can always force texture resolution step down to 512x512 or whatever you want in OFP references. Anyways, thanks for the update, King Homer and the team.

From my point of view, if this gets implemented in single player campaign, most likely we will be forced to use it. If you're forced to instantly switch from an infantryman to a tank gunner, imho the whole realism goes right out of the window. You no longer impersonate yourself with your character, it's like ....hmmm.... watching through a camera on soldiers helmet. Level of immersion was something I always appreciated in OFP. Much of it is lost thanks to such an option. You die ...oh well...I'm gonna switch to the next soldier and so on. That's what I didn't like the most about Ghost Recon and that's why I'm against it. Oh well maybe I'm wrong, after all we don't know almost anything about how it will be implemented. Maybe people will make a better use of this feature. But so far I'm very sceptic about it.

Well, so it overwrites the original one? Why not make a repathed version, after all it takes like 10 minutes to do it and we could have both versions co-existing without a problem.

I'm glad to see somebody enhancing our base model. I wish more models were released out there as open source, like this one. PS. Just a small remainder, make sure to change the OFF_ tag to your own one.

It doesn't seem to. It's made out of old Inquisitor's M4 kit, only the scope seems different.

It's too console-ish for me. But they aparently want to attract shooter noobs. Hopefully, this will 'feature' be disabled in veteran mode. I don't even dare to think what's coming next... jumping around the maps, like in CS?

A small notice for all you folks converting faces. Once you're done, please send me both TGA and PAC files (or at least TGA). The new terraforming is trully amazing and very realistc and so are the new ground textures. Old poor Nogova looks 100% better judging from the pics. New features sound very well, too, maybe I'm even gonna replay the RES campaign some day, once it's released!
