Actually, that one seems like a bug in WRPTool. As far as I can remember, SnakeMan said it'll be fixed in the next version. (Same thing happens to some of my objects).

Don't know if it has been mentioned before... if so, just ignore: There's a problem with Airport terminal building (jof_haus007.p3d). In geometry LOD the "class" named property is misspelled ("hause" instead of "house"). When you place it (the building, I mean) in WRP file, the ladder doesn't work.

Issues like missing sounds/texutres usually happen when you binarise the final version and forget to check if Binarise copied every single needed file to opt/ folder. Regarding OFPEC tags and addon dependecy, yes, this IS something very serious.

Miles, there's no need that BAS release map object pack, because you already have it. What you need is only BAS_O.pbo - it contains all the objects and textures (just 70MB ).

With all due respect, but I can't recall any addons that you released and now you want to teach others how to do this.... I do agree with you in most points, but I have also to say this: This one is simply unfair. As answered by DKM Jaguar. What the heck are you talking about? Do you REALLY think addonmakers do all the mistakes and bugs on purpose, just to annoy people?

Looks like Hawk updated his Mi-26 with sort-of cargo script. You can hook up one vehicle (even BMP!) on sling and another one goes inside. There's an option to paradrop the vehicle inside. Unfortunately every time I try to release cargo after landing, I get killed because transported vehicle is spawned on my head... maybe you'll have more luck . Follow this link and scroll down to "MI26 CARGO UPDATED" link, that should take you to the file.

Regarding textures, I meant that they're low-res so they don't look good together with Tonal objects.

Looking good, but that airstrip is absolutelly unrealistic = (How do you imagine building a sort-of artificial penisula in such a remote location?) + buildings are way to close to it. Also, he's seemingly using old Everon textures which IMHO don't go well with Tonal objects. One more unfitting thing is the African posters on buildings (Nivaquine? )

Here's my problem: Does anybody know how to modify footsteeps sound when in walking IN buidlings? (It's just like in the BIS old factory building: when walking upstairs, you hear "footsteps on metal" sound.) How can I make something like that in my own buildings? My first guess is that it's achieved by texturing roadway LOD with specific texture, but I don't know the proper texture name. I tried looking at demo models, but none of them has such a feature (metal surfaces). Also, it seems nobody ever posted about this so far here or at OFPEC. Edit: Same question, but concerning "footsteps in water" sound?

After a closer look: -all the models are MLOD which is not good in terms of performance and size (45MB) and -they're not properly optimised in terms of resolution LODs, which is even worse (high poly models, 4000+ faces, only one lower res LOD). But after all, it's just a beta release, so no, I haven't said that.

Any assistance is very welcome. If you want to help me with the destroyed versions or textures, I'll upload the most recent version to some ftp server tomorrow so that you can start working on them. RE embassy buildings and such... Industrial Pack is the priority for me now so unless somebody else is willing to take care of embassy project, it'll have to wait till... later.
