MSpencer, a member of this forum had Arliegh Burke destroyer imported into O2. There were even 2 or 3 threads about it here on this forum in A&M:Discussion, you should be able to easily find them. I'd advise you to get in touch with him.

There're thread's like that over here every half a year... but oh well... In the good old times I liked the original islands a lot. But now I got fed up of them. I rarely download the new islands that are using CWC/Res objects. Â What I am currently after, are the islands that have totally new atmosphere. The only currently available are Tonal and Afghanistan (guess by who & CAT_SHIT_ONE). McNools Pacific islands are very cool, too. Also MIA Iraz (really nice Iraqi-style island, unfinished and unreleased, though) and RFTest by Stacker (unreleased too, this one has genuine Eastern European feel and uses all-new objects). The islands I'm looking forward to the most are CSLA's Lacerta, Bushfires mod island and Isla Nubular (or was it Isla Sorna?) by Lost World Mod. Other nice released islands: Sarugao, Trinity, Hiiu, Maldevic and Winter Maldevic - all can be found at ofp.info. PS. To tease you somewhat... In the future, I'm going to try to make 2 all-new environments, one being "paradise islands" archipelago located somewhere on the South Pacific and the other one - really large city (already did performance experiments with 16 square km) on the scale unseen before in OFP.

I have to make 8-wheeled vehicle. That's an easy part. Now I need to prevent front wheels from turning left and right. Basically, I don't want any of the 8 wheels turn. Is there any way to do this? Â

Also, please make customizable roundels on plain grey version. This way I will be able to stick Polish Air Force markings to it.

Reflective water is relatively simple rendering trick. What you want to do, is not. Support for "camera ports" has to be built in the engine itself and there's no way for us to modify it. OFP is not Half-life 2, sorry. Edit: As you can see, the reflection in the water is based on the same scene as the "main frame". On contrary, monitor view would require rendering whole new different scene with separate "camera".

Sounds interesting... especially the new environment. Have you made a whole new building set for your island?

From what you can see on busy international airports, the aircrafts on taxiway are spaced only like 300-400 meters apart (really close in fact...) since in peak hours they take off every 3 minutes from the same runway. But that's the case for large commercial liners, I'm not sure how it's gonna be for other planes.

AFAIK they all are based on Sigma's model.

Make an eventhanlder killed that will use setObjectTexture command to make wires disappear. You'd also need to use it on neigbouring pole, too. Just in case you are going to ask... yes, killed eventhandler will work for WRP-placed objects.

Evil Clown, you can use www.yousendit.com for temporary hosting. Also, if you go 3-4 pages back, you can download the fixed skyscrappers (added missing lobby) and carpark. You're welcome to use it in your version. PS. I hope you're aware, that AEF trains will NOT go over the bridges? I'm saying this, because from your screenshots, I see you used them in some places and this reneders these railways useless. Also, if you are using my ags_inds.pbo, you can find much better train platforms (compared to AEF one's) in there. Â Edit: It seems yousendit is down at the moment... just wait some time or try to contact somebody from ofp.info.

Actually their XM-8 uses only a whole bunch of modelspecial's. The scripts are responsible for things such as empty magazine models appearing on the ground.

Just a little idea to distinguish leaders from ordinary soldiers in raid missions - have them wear sunglasses and make sure the ordinary soldiers don't wear'em.

Working Geo LOD would be nice for this one. Also, keep in mind that Tarawa is not an aircraft carrier per se. It's used to launch choppers and Harriers.

Your idea leads to nowhere as there can be only one turret axis per vehicle. You could turn around only one of these guns. BTW. Was the movie shot in the original location? Methinks the real terrain doesn't have to look like the one in the movie...

Forgot to ask earlier... I know there's a couple of nice buildings in art_bd.pbo (like enterable warehouse, apartment block, etc...) that never made it to the original map and they were not available in mission editor. Oh well... I'm gonna download it now and check it for myself. Also thanks to Soul Catcher, who was bugging me about the fixes long enough that I decided to fix them myself.

As promised... I fixed GeoLOD and destrType on some of the skyscrappers as well as multi-story car park. Simply overwrite the files in original art_bd.pbo and repack again. Download here

Pappy, if you want to add the lobby to the skyscaper .p3d model, feel free to take that one from building11.p3d. I can even send you MLOD model of that building if you're interested.

Methinks Skoda should make around 400km on the full fuel tank... I don't really get it why we should artificially lower the fuel capacity?...
