    Thanks for noticing this DGeorge85. Not sure what is going on, but I had checked all of the RVMATs and the SMDI textures between version 0.2 and 0.3 and they were identical, so I'm glad it wasn't an error on my end.

    Yes, the issue would be in the rvmats. I redid them, since I lost all my original files before this update. I will have to go back and look at what might have changed and fix it.

    Thanks Sonsalt! It looks like you'll need to make sure you have joint rails, joint muzzles, and joint attachments installed for all the attachment stuff to work. I'll have to take some time to look into why it's not working properly if those addons are not present.*see Robalo's post below. I also think the magazine disappearing when you reload the grenade launcher is an arma issue. At least I noticed the same thing on the RHS M4s when I was playing around the other day.

    Ghost Recon in A3 Experience

    Is it possible to switch between controlling different AI in Arma 3 like it was in OGR? Haven't done any mission related things in a lot time. I still play OGR, so looking forward to some missions with a similar play style in Arma 3!

    Finishing up some last minute testing today, but things are coming together. The new version will include additional configs for ADSG Rails and ADSG Attachments. I tested the rails last night and everything is working there, just need to do the attachments config. The main config also contains new magazines that work with the advanced ballistics mod thanks to Ruthberg. If you don't have it, it doesn't impact anything, but if you do, the weapons are now set up to take advantage of that mod as well.

    Good call Gobi! The new dev branch tools seem to compile again. I'll have to do some testing with the various config changes I'm adding, but I should have a new version out in a couple of days (famous last words!)

    I could add ASDG JR support, I'll have to look into how that is actually done. There is another PBO builder, but it requires you to have a P drive, which I do not use, nor do I want to use, so hopefully BI stops breaking addon builder and gets a fix out soon :)
  17. I wouldn't consider my MK18 pack large, there are 13 p3d files, but I'm having the issue where it just says "binarizing" forever. If I look in the temp folder I can see that it's working and binarizing some of the p3ds, some come out as 0 kb, but it never finishes binarizing.

    Hi Spartan, I'd be happy to use your ballistic stuff. Shoot me a PM and we can figure it all out. ArkBird, no custom reload animations, but the update will have custom sounds. The update is pretty much ready to go, but the addon builder seems to not want to binarize files anymore, so I'll have to wait for BI to update the tools again. Also, the first post is updated with the UPCOMING changes, but the update is not released yet.

    The uniform looks pretty good. I think it has a few issues during certain poses, but I think even the default Arma 3 characters do that. The uniform weighting from Arma 2 carried over pretty well. The same can't be said about the vests. There's a whole lotta clipping going on and I don't have the patience to update it in O2 anymore :/.

    These are in fact "close" to being done. At this point Sabre is working on some updated skins while I add a new optic and tweak the hand animations a little bit more (they are always off). If I had to give a percentage, I'd say 84%. They work pretty well in game and the 203 shoots grenades! The update already has new sounds from LordJarhead and I've fixed the zeroing issue. Just pulling the final pieces together and there will be a video showing all the cool new stuff, then I will delete everything, as Dude said. :bounce3: As for the SOTG, I've ported over most of the stuff, but ran into some issues weighting the vests. The uniform looks great, but the vest do all kinds of wonky animations. If there's someone who knows a better way to weight things than in O2 and can help, shoot me a PM. I'd appreciate it.

  23. AAW did it through hidden selections. Back in Arma 2, before we had this nice interchangable gear system, you basically had to put all the models you wanted on the soldier and then in the config define what was shown. I did a similar thing for the TSF addon. Each soldier had every model part for all variations, and then in the config I defined what would show and what would be hidden. That isn't really necessary anymore in Arma 3. As for changing textures and normals, that can all be done in the config with hiddenselectiontextures and hiddenselectionmaterials. As long as you define the parts of your model with a label (i.e. camo, camo1, armpatch) you can add a line to the config say along the lines of the following: hiddenSelections[] = {"Flag1", "Flag2"}; hiddenSelectionsTextures[] = {"\OPKit\textures\AmericanFlag_co.paa", "\OPKit\textures\AustralianFlag_co.paa"}; hiddenSelectionsMaterials[] = {"\OPKit\data\AmericanFlag.rvmat", "\OPKit\data\AustralianFlag.rvmat"}; I'm not in front of a computer with actual arma stuff, so I'm not 100% certain on the code there, but it should be close :)
