    Raise/lower sidearms

Yeah good idea. Whats the point switching to a sidearm inside houses when you find you cant turn while going upstairs - no matter if you have a pistol or rifle you always get stuck under a railing. I always try to run up and get the gun around quickly enough before that enemy soldier realizes i stand behind him -> takes away atmosphere.

    Breaking Orbit

Even IF it would work what would you do up there? - you cant see the ground (fog fx) so no point taking photographs - you cant bomb anything from there, it would take minutes to hit something and you'll be probably got bored by then / fell asleep - nothing can see you/shoot at you from the ground, the distance to you would be even more then 150km

What would you like BIS to focus on?

Uhm, sure Euphoria is great, but you realize that its not active most of the time, only when peds/niko bumb into something right? Saves CPU resources. Problem is its licence costs i guess thats the reason why we wont see this in any BIS title sad but true. (or physx, or ragdoll)

First Downloadable Game But Not Impressed

Good god. If something is downloaded to my system and nothing happens afterwards i normally go straight to my explorer to find out what landed where. Also, a quick ctrl&alt&del to startup process explorer to see if there's a installer active or not etc etc. Don't you guys feel responsible for your system? You just click 'download' and shut off your brains? Maybe it's because i'm 38 by now but one thing i've learned is that its best to never expect anything to be done for you automaticly, even if promised. Once you do, you sit there and wait and wait and wait ..... and one day you'll be 38. haha :D

    Got my new PC yesterday...

Nice! I'm planning to get a new pc this year, but surely before xmas (waiting times for single pc parts seem to be longer). i7 930 - how much did you overclock it? I suspect anything over 3.5Ghz should run ArmA2 very well.

[WIP] Northern Takistan map (1670 sq km)

Or Insurgency with 10000 sectors to clear lol. 50 ammo caches to find. Gah! :bounce3:

    The Unsung MOD (Vietnam War)

If this sets the release back by a couple of months i'm not interested ;)

Which Internet Browser Do You Use?

Opera for me. Got firefow at work and it's not bad either (love the AD block)

    J.S.R.S. 1.5

I was under the impression that this is supposed to sound like wind going over sand. It's a bit overdone imo but still realistic (on desert maps)

[WIP] Northern Takistan map (1670 sq km)

This is perfect for a chopper campaign tbh.

Which respawn method do you like?

Revive is awesome, it makes the ppl stick together as a group even more. Another thing is the 'no enemy around' respawn on another player from Insurgency. If the enemy is too strong you cant respawn anywhere else than base.

    BF1943 sneaks out for PC

http://kotaku.com/5633436/battlefield-1943-sneaks-out-for-pc If its anywhere near BC2 it should be good. Might buy it just for a laugh and some flying those old fighters again. Ah, the memories.
  15. OpF, RedHammer, Resistance, ArmA1, QueensGambit, ArmA2, OA, BAF - got it all :)
  16. Yeah, we need throwable knifes.

    CO16 Insurgency

Nah, BAF version was fine for me too. No difference. (i purchased BAF)

    CO16 Insurgency

Mmm PvP destroys this mission. The tension is totally gone, everyone is sniping around now. Great. :P IEDs arent needed at all, you just get shot out of your driver seat. IMO there are 2 versions needed, MP COOP and PvP, not both of them in 1 version.
  19. I bought a Kingston SSD (128 GB), installed ArmA2, OA and BAF and setup a Windows pagefile (4 GB) on it. Playing ArmA2 was a sheer pleasure since then, i'd say 80% of my stuttering is gone.

    J.S.R.S. 1.5

I agree with Colusssus. I have my headphones as loud as i can for ArmA without getting numb after an hour. Which means your sonics are louder than VERY loud for me - it starts to hurt. When i lowered the volume afterwards firing a rifle sounds like a distant peashooter. :( Getting a volume where everything sounds decent is not possible atm.

    Buggy rocks

I tried to take cover behind a rock that was at the edge of a huge slope, i came too close & the rock made me jump over it. Needless to say the landing was rather painful. I swear that Takistan rebel smiled when he gave me the rest lol. :p Yeah, the rocks are a big issue and it really happens to everyone, not just single incidents.

    BF1943 sneaks out for PC

BC2 was good on pc, but the effect it had on me disappeared after 3 weeks. And it arrived at a time where i had nothing else to play iirc. After that i fell back on ArmA2 again. If i was about to install BF3 on my pc but would somehow recognize 20 ppl play Insurgency on Kelly's Heroes right at that moment BF3 would go on my shelf for later. ;)

    Imdb?

Controls in ArmA2 took me 2 hours to get everything right. Then i tried to copy everything over to OA and had some problems. Accidently deleted my custom settings and had to start over from scratch lol. Took me 10mins on 2nd time. The brain can be a fascinating part of your body once you use it.
