Don't know if it's official. Seventh MySpace -
That last pic is sweet!! Are polys at that level gonna really kill performance?

Saw loads of ArmA copies in GAME at number 2 in the chart, made me smile.
-
Haha, class! Love the AK.

I can recommend the 7900 GS. No problems, does everything I want it to do.

Alouette II for South Sahrani forces.

Good shout. A UN version would also be cool. Always loved any UN addons in OFP, they worked well together no matter which author created them, and can have a place in a huge range of scenarios. -
da rat you plank. Thought this one was actually going to work.

Bah, don't get us all nostalgic.

Seems the lights are a bit of a marmite feature, I personally think they look great. Especially the last one. Tovarish, those ice scultpures are amazing.

Gosh, I never knew steel was less than 0.035% carbon as opposed to wrought iron. Learn something new everyday. Anyway, I would have expected at least a map or a mousemat or something. Why else have the thread? How much more expensive is the Special Edition?

Changing ground textures due to the weather would be cool in ArmA, but I can't see it happeneing. On the other hand there's nothing to stop a little creativity from the mission designer. Have snow getting gradually heavier in one mission and by the time your unit "wakes the following morning", the next mission is taking place on a snow version of the island. You could simulate a large scale nuclear war in a similar fashion.

Does uninstalling it remove the CD Key from your registry?

I'd like to hear some "we're reworking some features and making things more realistic" rather than "tweaking". But I'll keep schtumm till the next patch.
-
That's what I'm hoping for, can't wait to get my hands on some island tools.

Brilliant work!
-
I fully agree low light, hope some of that concept gets realised.

I suggest make addons for a given scenario. Research a string of battles or a campaign that really interests you or make up a ficticious scenario thats really gripping and atmospheric. Think about all the gameplay aspects you want to include. Big tank battles? Air strikes? Retreats? Rescuing POWs? Anything. Then decide what units you will need for this and get to work on them. That way you always have a constant goal to work towards, you only build what you need. Splitting WW2 into subdivisions saw loads of quality addons made but not many well rounded finished products.

Wehey! I knew if I aimlessly browsed the internet for long enough I'd find something work watching. Â EDITL: Great stuff. Ingenious as ever.

Pardon? He posted yesterday!

My cousin's got a lot of their songs, look for their myspace page. -
Ha, brilliant. How about a pigeon-shoot mini mod?
-
Not a bad idea. It would certainly be a fresh environment for MMORPGs. There have already been ventures into this with missions like Nogville. A good storyline could actually widen the target audience a lot, mixing in role playing and adventuring with tactical gamers. Good stuff.

Yeah! A "Columbo" mod! Â "Oh, there's just one more thing..." I loved columbo. Used to watch it every sunday, too bad they took his movies off. He seems more believeable than CSI! Bah, nearly anything seems more believeable than CSI. In the UK he's on channel 5 pretty much every day.
