    The rotor machinery in ArmA is very fragile, so any hard bumps are prone to knock your engine out. You should be able to land most of the time softly enough, but as some have said, choppers like the Blackhawk are designed to take hard landings... Also if you practice enough, you shouldn't need or want to use auto hover. Just my opinion though. Also yeah, some choppers like the Cobra seem to have a lot of speed but a lot of momentum too, so you have to plan your moves ahead. It's pretty easy to get over confident with the Cobra and plough it into a hill. The Littlebird doesn't have this problem though, I can rag it round the cities like a sports car. Â Â Does the Cobra having less rotors have anything to do with this?

    Wow, vast improvement! The green is much better, the forests are much less laggy, the little extra details... There isn't a part that looks like its been neglected now, nice one.

    Is there any way you could have this use a similar system to the OFrP mortar, so the rounds arc into the air rather that shooting straight forwards?

    Heh, I use my joystick for everything except flying choppers in ArmA.

    Yeah, I think i see your point now Monty. I was just so chuffed that ArmA got rid of the "rails" feeling of OFP. But yeah, actually being able to do real life, tactical procedures should be priority. And like Lee said, if that means adjusting the tail rotor settings, so be it. Nobody loses out. :P Also agree with Rommel though: while OFP seemed great at the time, it is pretty laughable when you go back to it from ArmA...

    The new version is superb! Still love the sparks, and liking the extra dust with building destruction. Top stuff. Â Only a few minor niggles: Perhaps change the fuel station fire to your new burning effect. Same goes for the campfire, it looks very "textury" at the moment.

    What manouvers are you guys finding so hard to do? I can do anything I want with an ArmA chopper. The chopper flight model is awesome. Seriously, leave it. The chopper crash system however is crap, and I agree with Monty. The chopper weapons isn't much of an issue, as these can be changed regardless of the game engine.

    Ensuring a whole unit goes out to buy an expansion pack can be a little difficult though. QG free islands, or versions without QG are much sought after. Granted Resistance was different. That was required for everything though. It revolutionised the game rather than just added content. I'm not saying QG is a bad thing, I own it myself, however, making it a requirement for some of the best community islands is a real pain.

    Glad you released this today, just finalising some addons for our unit. Â Good to hear you looking into the trees too, I always considered my PC as pretty good at running ArmA but even I get a bit of slow down flying over forests. But yeah, definately one of the best maps out now, much appreciated!

    Amazing mod! So many cool features, especially love the Eryx. Is there a way to allow other units to use the mortar? By default, only OFrP units have the option to deploy the motar.

    It'd much be much appreciated by a few units if you didn't! It's hard enough trying to find decent islands that don't need QG, as getting everyone in a group to buy QG just for an island is a bit of a pain. Or at least a QG free version. Looking good!

    Dude, even if that only got fired in a cutscene, still looks feakin awesome! As someone else said, that'll look very imposing in game. Hope you churn out a smaller range system too.

    Not sure if i'm out of the loop here, but did you fix the lack of blood textures on your civilian militia units? Recent pics look awesome.
