    Dedicated server - status

Thats the problem! We've to pay for the server and for the possibility to have Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition 25€ / month on top. Thats 300€ (~390$) / year for software I dont want and only need for a3 server. This is really annoying. I'm waiting for linux server. As long as linux a3 server has not been released the whole clan stays on a2oa.

    Dedicated server - status

I've got the same problem you have. We're working with a dedicated linux server. Cause Windows license ist so expensive. We're waiting for the dedicated server files too. But please keep in mind this ist still a public ALPHA! No beta or release. The system is still under development. I'm pretty sure BIS knows about the importance for the community. Let the guys do there work until that you have to wait like the rest of us or try the workaround.

    Server Query Documentation?

Hopefully somebody can help me with this. For the query of my dedicated servers I've tried http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=243 http://gameq.sourceforge.net/ http://www.greycube.com/site/download.php?view.56 nothing of these works. Of course the server is online an reachable. Ports are open too. Gametracker does tracker the servers but I don't understand why I can't do this? Could some one tell me what I've to do? Thanks.
  8. Hello Community, we're currently searching for other clans who want to play Clan vs. Clan Realwar, because fighting against AI sucks. If you're looking for such kind of action too, feel free to contact us. Who we are? [ASO] Army Special Operations – Squad Established 2001 German Clan http://www.aso-squad.de Current manpower ~15 Whats “Realwar†? Our definition of “Realwar†means ... No respawn (until the game is finished) No AI No crosshair No 3rd Person No public players No bug using or cheating – fair play What is needed ? A2OA v. 1.60 Only MOD = ACE2 Stable v. 1.13 Clan size ~15 member (we will find a way to have equal teams) English or German language What can we offer ? A2OA dedicated Server TS3 Server Experience since 2001 Great battles Motivated opponents What mode do we play ? That depends on what you prefer. Basically, anything is possible. We prefer missions based on real military tasks, e.g., clear town, capture or kill high valued targets, convoy attack, combat patrol, take and hold valuable military targets, evacuation of vip etc. … If you are interested, please contact us and let us know your preferences. We can then have a chat on what's possible, which missions to play, etc. We are looking forward to hearing from you! Contact PM in this board here. BattlEye Installers (A2:OA, A2: RFT, A2)

We've got the same problem here. A2OA Version: 1.60.87580 A2OA Linux Dedicated Server: 1.60.87589 Battleye from: http://www.battleye.com/download.html 23:22:06 Player XXX kicked off by BattlEye: Corrupted Memory #3 23:22:06 Player XXX disconnected. But not everbody get's that error.
  10. I can confirm that error. We've got it too. But we fixed it. Some files are damage during upload. Generate md5sum of the files and check it with the original files. On that way we found the damaged files. Uploaded it again and the errors are gone.
  11. Thx everbody for the great work! Happy holidays!

    Memory Leak

I've got the error too. Sended crahsfiles to dwarden.
  13. Problem has been fixed by deleting all old missions with old ACE stuff.
  14. We've got a little problem with 1.8. I've just updated the server and now when a client connects the Server crashes with. The Mission he can't open is always a other one from mpmissions directory. Server is a Linux 1.57 Server. The file permissions for the folder and the files are set correctly. When I start the server without ACE 1.8 it works fine without any problem. ACE v1.7 works fine too. Does anyone have got a idear?
  15. Forget about this post. I fixed the problem.

  17. Okay, I've be workin since 5 hours on my server but now I know the problem. If I start the server with ./arma2server -mod=@bwmod the Server can't load the addons because they are missing. But if I start the Server with ./server -mod=@bwmod the Server can load the addons for the missionfile. So there must be a bug in the ./arma2server script, or not? Maybe someone can tell me something about that. Thank you! By the way, using: arma2_linux_server-1.04.61018
  18. I got a question. Is there a commandline based pbo maker which I can run under linux shell? Does someone have an idear for me?
  19. Hey folks, got a problem with a selfmade mp mission. I used secop module to assign automatic generated missions to a teamleader. After the teamleader gets killed and spawns the secop modules does not send new missions request to the teamleader. Is there any way to fix that? Other modules work after spawn. But the secop module not... that annoys me. Hope you can help me.
