Hehe... I am working on one model atm, making all the changes, adding new materials. I will need to apply that to the other models as well. That takes time and i want to save that till i am more satisfied with the new stage. I would like to spend more time on it, but nobody wants to pay me for it. -
I need to get used to an M60 Chassis, M1 Turret and Leo2 Cannon in a combination. But it looks good, espacially with the RACS camo. Will the Chassis be the weak spot to shoot at?

Back again and still short on time... I did some researches in the past week and startet to create new materials for the plane. The Textures will get more details, depending on the time i can invest and a new shadow lod is planed. Changes: *Tweaked HUD color *Removed HUD components which doesnt belong where they where .) *HUD is more visible at daylight *HUD is turned on with the engine, not connected to the rpm *Added, tweaked Texture details *Vertical Tails modified I started my research on the Su-27 versions and started some concept works which will lead to the Su-27/Su-33/Su-35/Su-37 Large Version Large Version Large Version -

I made a small concept for RACS troops fitting better to the enviroment of South Sahrani. They are looking more like the vehicles than the original. Large -
It's not that simple. The velocity of the vehicle is world coordinates (Y is north) and the drop command's is model coordinates (Y is forward) Use the speed of the vehicle/unit for the Y coordinate of the created shell. That works fine for planes and all vehicles that are not staving (so no choppers, soldiers). For all other Vehicles/units you will need to convert the velocity via sin/cos functions into the model related coordinates, which gets a bit more complicated.

For a mod that used to import a lot from other games, at least in the past, that seems to be a 180 turn regarding your own work... I personally dont get the point why 10 different ppl should work on the same stuff everyone on his own. That doesnt make sence and less Addons relying on good stuff are created. I feel the same way regarding others ripping apart your work and selling it as their own. But you need to keep in mind that some are good Islandmakers but not tallented on making objects, espacially plants. But you might get in touch with each other in a more cooperative way, working together on similar projects, even for the mod itself. -

Well, it works. Just the cone is too long. Just make it shorter, closer to the front sights. It will effect the look of the optics, its not waving that much when you move. But you can be happy in your vehicles again. Perfect optics vs compatible addon always a decision you need to make. -

Adding the cone with the optic as a proxy to the weapon should solve the problem. Hopefully. -

I made some calculations and it should be possible to create the effect on the ZSU-23-4 with a kind of transmission using 2 rotation-animations. I will give it a try and report back when its confirmed. EDIT: Its not possible on the Shilka. The games engine fixes the Gunmuzzle to the Turret, which doesnt allow any animation. You can only move the whole turret like in the ah6, which obviously wont be an option on the shilka. Â Â -

I really like the system. Quiet simple and of genius. The only problem is with the source of the gunsound, which is rotating with it. Makes you hear it from time to time on the left and then on the right side, but that is something you can live with. ArmA II should use it if there is no other system. And there is a good chopper too. What a day. -

Yeah, it depends on the angle you have when you touch down. noticed that too, but changing it will lead to another issue under another angle. Its a dillemma....

Ah okay, i go it. Thought you were talking about the stabilizers at the bottum line. Havent noticed this detail at the vertical tail yet.

Yeah, shadows for the antennas will be in. I will try to add more details to the textures, markenings and the fuelprobe (i am not gonna model it ). Which keel ruders do you mean? i checked my blueprints and everything looked fine. I am working on a Replacementversion of the Su-30 for the Su-34 atm, that will have some fixes included. I dont know how much time i will be able to commit to my projects, my work is going to cost me 12+ hours a day now.

Hm, the firegeometry includes the proxies (and you can shoot the crew). At what speeds and conditions did that happend to you? Gear up/down, Flaps, Afterburner, Cheats *:P*,etc. I tried to reproduce it but wasnt able to. Crashed a lot of times during the recent development but it never happend. Anyone else got that "feature"?

I have a long list of fixes i made today, including some texture improvements. Few bugs are left and i need to find proper sounds for the engine and weapons. I hope to find some in good soundmods and get permission to use them. First release might be with only one loadout, so you can play while i am working on the structure for the Su-27 family released in packs. I would like to see an huge arsenal for them, but dont know how GodHammer is making progress or when i will be able to make some own less amazing ones. Here are some screens again:
