Don't forget that the scale of things IRL is not the same of stuff in OFP. But IRL the LSD which is of the Whidbey Island class is larger in size than the Arleigh Burke (at least if FAS.ORG is to be credited with reliable info...).

Why don't people tell me these things I'm doing a completely reworked version of the Lincoln convertiable, complete with opeing bits. Will be re-released later along with a Limo version. Well, I think your addons are some of the best OFP has seen so I wasn't going to open a thread to tarnish their reputation... It's nevertheless a pleasure to hear you're going to remake the limo; it would be enough for me if it was just as it was but without the problem... ok, and maybe a little less fuel-consumption - it really is THE BEST limo I know in OFP - Chaika and Mercedes Benz S 600 don't come close to that low-rumbling more-than-6-cylinder-engined black beauty you created!!! A little off-topic but I can't resist since I got your attention, whazzup with the Hawk SAM launcher? Is it ever going to be released? And what of your Cheyenne tutorial?

Do you mean that you dont want the ship to go over 50 knots ? cause i wrote a very nice anchor script for my destroyer that i'll also use to stop the destroyer going over 32knots Top speed of Arleigh Burke is about 50 Kilometers per hour, not knots! FAS ORG Arleigh Burke stats

Nice work!!! Oh, didn't know that the "gang car" would be a rework of Col. Klink's black convertible limo... you know, I've had a problem ever since I updated to 1.96 with it... the driver was seated in the middle of the rear seat, and no other passengers would be visible!! Maybe that's also tied in to the mystery of the invisible passenger in the Jeep MG...

Umm, sorry to revive an old topic about Tonal patches, but only recently have I cleared a lot of nice addons just to make room for the monster known as Tonal... But when I tried to patch 1.2 the patch wouldn't patch correctly; although the cpp file was there, the patch wouldn't find it! Does anybody know why? Or are the patched files available somewhere? -
ag_smith, the: this exec "MAP_Noe_cfg\init.sqs" tag on the player unit works wonders Eheheh... first thing I added was a west officer unit with that tag plus I named it nimitz (you can guess as to why ) then I added lotsa stuff which had swirling radars eheheh... Damn! Should have taken a picture called Massive Radar Farm or something like that...

Worse than that, access is denied by right-clicking and wanting to save the target, and Flashget can't pull it either...

Ya, lol, now all we need is a huge allotment of plowing machines so that these mushrooms can all be demolished like a "poppy-field-destruction"-mission (dunno where the main real-life production of mushroom drugs is located, but I bet it's somewhere foresty... hmmm... Everon perhaps?!?) Â Â Â Â Â Â Hmm... poppy-field... now THAT would be a nice piece of farmland ripe for picking on... with heavy destructive machinery, that is!!! By the way, some agricultural machines would go a long way with this (besides the Tractor, that is). Or do there exist other construction vehicles applyable to this?

Well, in this case I could define an addon as being finished when it's author would release it with assurance that he wouldn't perfect it further; nor anybody else presents himself to make it better... The TRUE state of perfection is attained when it CAN'T be made better!

Yes, that F-18 is the most obvious choice. Oh, and I think everybody needs it (I mean the tractor). Well, why not the official planes for starters? At least EVERYBODY has those... others later?

There were "mini-gears" made that were quite cool... based on the "Heavy Gear 1" game... they packed a punch and are tough as nails... seem like a better thing to use rather than the Terminator, which is also powerful...

Nevertheless, it isn't difficult to imagine that the NDF does NOT belong to a country which has a high armament-buying power. Many small nations do tend to field at least some equipment that is home-made even if using foreign armament. It helps keep maintenance and unit cost down as well as provide for some independence towards supply of replacement parts etc coming from any foreign nation. That's why I would not dismiss these things so fast as to be completely out of hand... Edit: IMO it's easier to envision an FIA using almost exclusively captured armament from an invading army, as opposed to an NDF which has to defend a country with what looks like a rather restricted budget...

Errm, what about the Zubr and the LCAC? They're large, have to come to land, and need to be able to carry MBTs... would they be possible?? Would some corageous team be able to make them?? PLEASE??

Well... erm... I'd love to see mechs... but not if they're not walking... besides the Wanzer the Star Wars modding guys seem to have a way to animate their mechs...
