The only way you can fix your graphics card issue is by changing your graphics card, i.e. buying a new one. I don't think it's possible for you to get that great of performance out of ArmA II, or any other game for that matter, with that card. You could try overclocking, but, again, I don't think it will make much of a difference unless you have some incredible fan system.

I'm sorry but... Isn't a 4350 a pretty crappy graphics card? It's probably bottlenecking that system like crazy. If you bought that PC for gaming, then you seriously chose the wrong PC, as your graphics card will give you a hard time. In terms of your game being legitimate, refrain from buying used games, especially ones made by BIS. A number leave them installed on their PC and if you were to register your copy with the same key that they used, FADE will activate, which is BIS' way of combating piracy by slowly degrading the game until it's unplayable for the offender.

I would say the same to you, after the comment you made. No, I do not think I'm the leading authority, but I think it's pretty illogical to think that BIS will release OA even though we've had little information over the past few months apart from a few short pieces of gameplay footage showing the game in alpha state. You sound like one of those mindless hounds which scream "RELEASE THE GAME NAO!!1one" as if it's going to make the developer do so. "Special". Some people are "special". If you're inclined to start flaming me then do so via PM. Doing so in this thread will simply derail it.

But like any major company who experiences very bad PR, they just cover it up wherever they can so that they can dupe people further. Best course of action is simply to spread the word ourselves. I have a feeling it'll be the same with this game. Anything even slightly criticizing it will be covered up until they milk as large of sales as they can from the public, then cutting support for it. They have yet to not do this with any one of their games. They even do it with their largest IPs. They're a horrible company.

Yes, but one thing that I doubt will ever change is their customer service. That's already a failure in my books. So much so to prevent me from ever buying a title from them again.

The limited edition comes with many different unlocks on day 1 for MP. Plus, there's also a day 1 DLC map pack, containing, apparently, an old BF2 favorite. I know what it is, but I shall not spoil it. Well, maybe I will: Pre-load is complete, now I just have to wait for Friday morning. Awesome way to start the weekend! :D

Here's an example of the humor in the game. I laughed quite a bit in it, actually. Some genuinely funny parts. They made many of those ripping-off trailers. I highly recommend watching the rest. :p

It did in Bad Company 1, though rather... Unsuccessfully. Though I did like the characters a lot. Glad to see they're all back, just not as over-the-top-funny as they were... Oh well... Oh, and that video was simply a response to Richie's last option of Dr.Octogonapus. :p

I just don't see how we can win such a war as this. In a perfect world I would love to see terrorism defeated once and for all, but that's not the case unfortunately. We may capture/kill bin Laden, we may destroy a large part of Al-Qaeda, but more will just take their place. Terrorism is something that I don't think can be defeated, especially in a part of the world such as the middle east. I have personally believed we're fighting a losing battle ever since we went to Afghanistan. I do not, however, devalue our troops in any way, shape, or form. I cannot express in words how much respect I have for all the brave Canadians, Americans, British, Australians, etc. who are over there.

Yeah, you should see the Steam forums. People are going crazy, canceling orders left and right. I wish I had BC2 as soon as others have, but an extra wait just makes me want to play it even more, and therefore enjoy it even more. From what I'm hearing, I'm going to love it as well. :D

Most of those were mentioned pre-release probably 1,000,000 times, 11aTony. Please tell me you didn't buy the game before reading up on it a little. :eek: That common mistake is why "that other game" got, and is still getting, sales... I believe the campaign is meant to poke fun at Bad Company 2's main competition, Modern Warfare 2, hence why they were cheeky and ripped it off a little. I hear there are references to it as well throughout the campaign. Personally, I like that. A lot. :D

And word is spreading of BIS' impeccable customer and community support; something that almost every other developer completely neglects nowadays. Developers always earn positive reviews when they adhere to standards similar to BIS'. I'd say BIS should be the standard for game developers' community relations.

It's not your imagination. I'd like to see that issue of PCG. Was it the UK or US version? I only get the US version over here, and even then, it's rare.

The setup is straightforward, the getting used to it is not. I'm having a hard time myself, and find it easier to simply not use it. But others have made great use of it, so don't take it only from me.
