    a few questiens: - How does infantery/tanks navigate in the rumbles of the destroyed city? - will there be varinty in the destroyed buildings? (so it dosent look as the excact same building architecture. how will the area around it look as? ( oh yes... a little saving private ryan wish from here, is it possible to make a river go tough it, and make a bride over it, just as in the ramell city in saving private ryan ;-) with inv44 coming up ( looks that way! ) soon that would be sweet

I was deeply dissepointed about Arma 1s performance, it seems like Arma was a step behind compared to ofps performance when it orginally were released, even tough I brougth sonys new top model laptop I only gained a few extra fps, I figured it was the shadows draninning the system for resources, but come on BIS, you can do better!
  5. unfortunately the only thing i can say is that I've spent far too much time searching the internet for such optics. there rare at best. Google searches come up with some. E-books had a few in. other then that operational manuals are the only really definite source you can find them in. and there extremely rare at best. I'm heading to Bovington tank museum at the end of this month and going to try my best to get some optics from there. might have to work some magic though to let me in the tanks XD Were is that museum ?

  9. ArmA only loads up what you can see within your visual distance and what's being loaded by various levels of detail. Â Most of the time when you go further then 1,000 meters away from objects, a lot of the smaller ones such as the bushes, trees, flowers disappear. Â Other objects like buildings and vehicles drop in the amount of detail the further you are from them. Â ArmA only allows you to put so many objects in one spot before it becomes a problem. Â I use the max visual distance of 10,000m to keep the frames up. Â We also use as many low poly objects as possible. Â We did this with the intention of creating a multiplayer friendly environment. Â As it stands now, you can play on the beta test server and achieve very high frame rates with a very large map. PS- ArmA2's map is larger then mine with much more detail. and hopefully better programmed then Arma ... :S

  16. That is the plan for sure. Someone on the other board mentioned they don't like the traditional Wermacht uniforms...I sure like them! its not a questien about liking them or not, its historical wrong, they look alot different in 1944, then your 1942/43 outfit. but my god, I cant wait to make my own d-day mission .... maybe with my own little twist ;P

  18. k I´ve spend most of the evning last day to mess around with the mod. And I have some construtive critism: negative stuff: - Textures really needs alot of work! - the SS camo arent that accurate/same goes for the german paras - the flak 88 camo needs a overall re-work. - the sounds are horrobile on the allied side, ect. rip the dod sounds. positive stuff: + large selection of units/vehicles + a good wwII feeling I hope you will accecpt my feedback and meet it with positive mind.
