About the BWMOD they are probably made by a single texture artist or textrue artist which have been taught by the same texture artist a good example of this was Rudedog and Pablo from Combat addons, you couldn't tell which one did the work becuase they were taught and one taught the other about texturing Look at his link. They are using paint chips with corresponding RGB values, something skinners in the Il-2 community have been doing for a long time for the sake of greatly improved consistency. Most militaries have standardized paints for which you should be able to determine RGB values. That leads to greater consistency, but not total (weathering, changes in paint, etc. all lead to a degree of variability in real life anyways). ah ic what you mean but its still very hard because certrain filters some people use change the texture colour completely

That is asking for the impossible, every texture artist has his own method and technique and his own personal adaption of how to texture and how it should look, an addon maker can try and mkae his addon match up but its still very hard.

They were pioneers introducing new workarounds for engine limitations DKM: -downwash script -minimap script -working Hud -startup procedure BAS: -ropedown script -some stuff they got from DKM . OWP's MI-26 has some nice things, but I wouln't call them functionsl, apart from the ability to carry vehicles inside  Also remember BAS did some other cool stuff which we take for granted now. They introduced the concept of JAM, and also did stuff which we all take greanted such as "the goggels up and goggels down" in infantry, rappling etc. But in my oponion they (BAS) faultered like a Shakespear tragedy. They came with good intentions but through a mixture of the community (which some prominant addon makers told me are very spoilt) and their secrecy and regimental structure they became bitter and felt it was not worthid making addons in OFP. Hopefully when Armed Assault comes out the old players in OFP who were against BAS or said silly things would have grown up and matured (I was 16 when i got OFP and now am 20) and the new talent and demand which will surely arrive allow BAS to thrive and help make this game or the next generation of this game more fun.

the JSDF mod is great their addons are great too should try it out, its modern but not ultra modern.

FK from the USMC mod has got a few screenies of his 5ton truck do you think you will be able to con him into letting him use it for thr FFUR pack, since his NATO commo will bind really well with the CBT addons. -

Wow an asian theatre sounds great will the US also be involved (just saying becuase they always are and since a carrier battle group is based in japen, along with marine MEUs and 2id in Korea) About trace rounds I was taught to load the second last round i.e. the 2nd round i put into a mag with a tracer round even though my army uses see through mags and all my mags are always loaded with the full 30 bullets. I am pretty sure armies around the world (at least western ones) have their second last bullet tracer rounds its good practice becuase in reality we dont have a little tab on the top corner of our eye telling us how many bullets we have left -
Wow laser they look great, but I'm pretty sure the guy on the right is actully in delta force because I remember seeing him in thew movie blackhawk down :P (nah just kidden) they look top notch just wondering should the overalls be a shade darker? also do we get to see desert verisons of these units

As you know, we delayed the release due to losing one of our missions. But by this delay, we decided to improve our addons as well. To confess, the mission problem was solved out in two days but we've been still improving the pack. (you can call this attitude "obession of perfection" ) Improvements Audio for example; Now SFX used for our addons became really cool! dynamic range of sounds is making the atmosphere real "hot-realistic". I'm sure this will cheer you up all ofp lunatics Rich readme in English & Turkish; We'll give you a rich readme which will provide you with everything you need. All sounds, animations, scripts, etc. used are covered to let you create ultimate interactivity for your mod, campaigns and missions. Mod makers will love this readme. Neat editor definitions; You will like the simplicity when you check the pack out through mission editor. Ok get ready because we are almost done with this project. I may be wrong but judging by the cockpit size that aircraft is smaller then the f117 yet it shares the same general shape and silhouette

I may be wrong but arn't troops seeing front line combat reguardless whether Reserve, Active or National Guard are usually given the best equipment for survivability? the short answer...unfortunately no....alot of guard units are still using dated (to say the least) equipment ..one big issue is the fact that there aren't enough uparmored humvees to go around... Even though they are called for Active Combat Duty?

wow 100*100 that would actully large enough for division based battles this is cool and imaging you can actully have artillary 10km away from the front line and it wont be on the otherside of the map. Also SAMs will be super realisitic. A 100*100 km island would be great for desert enviroments with major cities at about 20km intervals or what ever. It would be great to make the Kuwait-Iraq basra theatre where the 2nd Iraq war started with this size becuase the Iraq coast is no more then 50km
