Well its logical, 505 is not a well known company for game distribution unlike Activision or EA games, so 505 would rather loose money and release a stable game, rather then make money and release it before Christmas the only problem with releasing an unstable game is they loose their reputation. So in other words they are sacrificing the little fish now so they can get the bigger fish later.

I would like to see just one World War 2 mod or at least a co-operation of World War 2 mods under a banner somthing like the G85 mod group. I remember back in the OFP days there were 3 to 4 WWII mods, that meant 3-4 German Troops, 3-4 US Troops and virtually no Italian, Indian, Australian, and all other small player countries, but if they are under one mod they can better co-ordinate standisation and addon making so we dont end up with 23 German SS infantry addons and no Canadian Addons. Note All countries I used in this were just examples to prove a point.

Dunno if you guys noticed this, but the patrol cap worn by the officer is actually a U.S. marine patrol cap and not an army patrol cap.

Checked Electronic Boutique one of the largest video game retailers in Australia. They have a release date in Australia of the 26th of November 2006. Yep Australian release date is the 26TH NOVEMBER 2006. So it may be better to wait for the Aussie Version. That makes no sense at all.. My educated guess is that they dont know what they are talking about... 505 will publish it in Australia and they are aiming for a February release. That's it. Its what I got from the guy at the computer game store. I'm ringing again to get another confomation becuase I was amazed to here it, but when I came in person that's the answer I got. I am not trying to spread vicious rumors or make up crap. I'm ringing agian to confirm the release date and this time I'll ask for other information such as release dates and publisher info to see if it corrosponds to what we already know about Armed Assault. ++EDIT++ UPDATE After ringing Electronics Boutique Northland: This is the infomation I got: In person I asked and was only 26th of November 2006. When I rang up a few hours after I got home they said the release is the 26th of November 2006, but having said that I called other Electronics Boutique stores in Victoria, Australia and they dont have a release date. So I am treating it as a rumor unless another Electronics Boutique store can confirm a release date. What's the point of making it just a little bit better if it's already great? Little demands like that keep addonmakers stuck to improving addons over and over instead of making new stuff. Â This comes back to the question of quality versus quantity

Dreamy Knight from memory made a series of cargo replacement animations which replaced default animations. Well this addon better be released post-beta soon because in about 5 years I have a feeling some General in the Pentagon will want to standardise all uniforms of the US armed services

This is a little of topic but pretty soon it looks like the US Armed Services will have as many uniforms as the Russian Forces, I mean each service is making their own uniform the Marines have their own, the army will have a unique one and the airforce has made some crap blue one.

I think all you need to do is to use the Air Borne models and perhaps make an officer model and a man model with beret and patrol cap and boonie hat
