Well, I have to say something. I have never seen anybody been shot or anything like that, but in a great book Black Hawk Down is a lot of different stories about people getting shot. A shot to the chest is not always killing, but getting crippled or to be out of everything for a few seconds is possible. A headshot is not always killing, but it may stun the target for a few seconds/ minutes. Usually after those few minutes your all blood has run out of you. When getting shot, you may feel the hit (it debends on that how much adrenaline you have in blood), but after that you can fight almost normally. - Medic.. hey, I'm feeling dizzy... Do something... - What the hell's happened to you? Call for a med'evac! - What is it? Just heal it so I can fight. - You've got a fucking big hole in your chest! Don't move, lie down, calm down... - Just do something, I will survive. - Cancel that med'evac. He died. What about sergeant Smith in BHD. A one shot in the hip, the man stayed alive for many hours, but finally he died in the medic's arms. I suggest that the hits would look like more realistic, like in SOF2. Then we would be able to have realistic injuries. After that we should have many hitpoints like heart, forehead, neck, arteries. Then there should be more hit "textures" and different hits for different weapons/bullets. After getting shot by a .22 to the head, you may even walk. Not straight, but even walk. An AK-47 or a Browning M-2 may blow your head clean off. Also the other hole, that the bullet came out from, is bigger than the other. Nice realism to the nice game.A good pic about a wasted human head.

Anybody played IL2-Sturmovik?

I think it's not realistic when i shoot a one bullet to the soldiers right leg, but the both legs are in blood, and full of holes. Should be better, if a one shot will make a hole right there where you shoot, and another to another place. It will not be bad, only realistic, if a satchel charge will broke the man in pieces. And, a shot with a Colt .45 will not make that big hole than Barret or something else. And if you shoot the man with a Barret to the heart, there should come really much blood, pieces of meat and heart, and other things out from the other side. And, if you lie next to the dead body, your uniform will be bloody in few seconds. And, this would make combat more realistic: the bullets go trough the humans. If you shoot a man and there's another man behind him, the another man will be dead too. Post your comment about blood and violence in OFP2 to here.

Jus for realism; AK-47, AK-74, and AK74su can't shoot 3 rounds brusts. 7.62- bullet has lots more recoil than in ofp1.

M-14. It must be. M-16 with 20 rounds magazine, some WWII-weapons will be nice (Mosin Nagant,M1A1 Thompson, Kar, PPsH). Yes, oh yes of course a working flamethrower and Molotov coctails. CAR-15. Those are the most important. And Napalm too!

1. Heavy enemy fire. A large assault. The sergeant has been hit on the head and two others have not legs. The team members will look them. The order comes from the radio. "All units, move, move, move!". But the whole squad will only lie down waiting for the death. 2. Black-op mission. 3 members in the team. Radio silence. Every of those 3 guys will do what they look is the best, and the commander will not give orders. Mission is: destroy the tanks. Commander doesn't say orders in every second, like "1, put satchel charges at 0 35". They know their mission and do it without any order. 3. Team members will call themselfs with the names, like: "Fuck! Tommy is hit right to the head! Medic! Oh shit! He's dead. Tommy is dead." 4. I think the soldiers didn't have "walkie-talkie's" at the beginning of -70's, so they "speaked" the commands. 5. Big battle; heads down and to the bush. The soldiers are humans, not killer-robocops, and they will run away, come angry, etc. 6. Patrol at the forest. Soldiers are keeping low, looking around, that's really scary, when you never can't know, when there comes hot steel from the bush. The squad leader keeps up the morale of the squad. when the sergeant is hit, the squad understants what's going on, and how weak the human life is. Älkää jääkö tuleen makaamaan!

I need to get a satchel charge being in a ground and detonate. Is it possible? It will help too, if i can get a soldier setting a charge in the ground.

I think the easiest way is to put the civ's init.field this addweapon "ak47"; this addmagazine "ak47"; this addmagazine "ak47"; this addmagazine "ak47"; Then group it with an eastern leader and put the leader's probablity of presence to 0%. Now the civ has a gun and mags and he will shoot and get shooted by west and and there isn't any eastern officer. I think that helps .

How do i get a tank to shoot at an empty building?
Walt replied to Pak_40_Gunner-11b-'s topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Just put a destroy-waypoint on the building. Let's hope that works. -
I am making a mission, where I need civilian soldiers. I cnow how I can make a weapon on him, but how can I get him shooting west, or east units???
